Happy Thanksgiving - Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Add caption
Welcome to Show and Tell Friday and Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends! We had a small group here tonight (Thursday) but I still made two pies. One pumpkin (above) and one my favorite apple pie recipe!

I have good news to share! I asked for a one month extension on my move out date and they gave it to me. Now I need to find a new place by the end of February. I found one apartment complex that I am leaning towards. My must have for my next place is a washer and dryer in the unit and this place has it! I'm actually getting excited about finding a new place...what a difference a week makes!

Thanks to all of you that join in on Show and Tell Friday every week and thanks to all of you who leave such nice comments!

If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog.

When I read your post last week I was so upset as if it was happening to me! Glad to hear you've found a possible new place and that you have a brighter outlook. You'll enjoy having a washer and dryer, it's going to free up so much time, more time to shop!
It's going to be so much fun to follow you along as you decorate your new place.
Good luck, Lynda

I think you will find this move to be a blessing in disguise. You will find new adventures and new friends. You love decorating and it will be fun redoing a new place. You might find some of your tastes have changed, or you might find new ways to display things. Either way, I bet you will make it a positive experience.

Cindy, I missed your post last week so just now read it and I am so sorry for this upheaval in your life! I had several friends who had this same thing happen to them and it really does shake your world. We lived in Orange County for years but the high cost of living there is partly what drove us to leave and move to FL. We pay 100's less here for 2 bed/2 bath but, we were also very lucky that my husband works for Pepsi and transferring with the same job was easy.

Anyway, in a world of blogging where most live in huge homes, you've been my biggest inspiration...I never thought apartment living could be so wonderful until I came across your blog years ago. I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers and hope you find a wonderful new home! HUGS!

Oh, what happy news--not so much that you may have found a place, but that YOU have found the strength to now be excited about your move! Prayers that went your way were heard; may you find the blessings that are surely there for you, Cindy. Thank you for hosting. ~Zuni
