It's time for another Show and Tell Friday once again! This week I'm sharing my love of my favorite flower, hydrangeas (although pink roses are also a favorite)!!! Above are some dried hydrangeas that my former Mother-in-Law, Judy, brought me a couple years ago! They were from her garden and they were huge!!!
This one above was just from the grocery store!
My hydrangeas turn this pretty shade of green as they age (above). Below you can see them in transition between pink and green.
I love decorating with both fresh and dried hydrangeas!
These are a combination of dried and silk hydrangeas.
and these are silk....
Fresh from the garden...
Beautiful painted hydrangeas from a blogging friend...
More green hydrangeas from the garden...
Fun with hydrangeas...
I can hardly wait for mine to start blooming again! That won't be until about May though, but the lilacs should be blooming in a couple months!

Hydrangeas are my favorite flower too and peonies are a close second.Loved the pictures.
Hydrangeas are one of my absolute favorite flowers. yours are so beautiful. thanks for showing them!
I love hydrangeas but they are not common here. Every time I buy them they immediately wilt! I've been told to cut the stem, add food, even to dip the tip in hot water. I've given them a full soak in the tub to revive them but when I put them in a vase they just droop again. There must be a secret. Yours are beautiful!
Your beautiful hydrangeas made me realize that I definitly had a posting for here. Although your flowers far out-rate mine!!
Have a wonderful weekend.

All your flower arrangements look so beautiful! They make me long for spring. :) But I love how you show that you can have flowers year round, if your turn to silks and dried flowers.
Beautiful, Cindy. Love all the pretty flowers. Your vineyard sign is great!
Cindy,
Your hydrangeas are wonderful, fresh or dried, you have created some very beautiful vignettes with them.
Thanks for hosting.

Beautiful pics Cindy-Happy Weekend:@)
Everything you share is always so beautiful. I would love to live in your home! :)
I, too, love hydrangeas. Only one bush, alas, at Linderhof -- one established they do well on the prairie -- it's the getting them established that's hard -- they don't like the dryness of prairie summers!
Thanks again for hosting, I love to link to My Romantic Home. Your flowers are lovely, I'm dreaming of Spring and the scent of flowers.
Hi Cindy!
Love the blue mason jar and star fish! Two of my favorite things! We're new followers!

Thank you! I love hydrangeas and you decorated with them so beautifully:)
Cindy, I adore hydrangeas. For some reason I've had problems growing them. I'm gonna try again this year though, once the snow leaves us here in Texas! Can you believe it? I love your house and courtyard, as you know!
Brenda
Cindy that is my all time favorite
flower. I have 2 planted in my
courtyard. I have a pink and a
bluish purplish color. I dry them
when they are through blooming that
way I can enjoy them all winter.
Hope you and Lauren have a good
weekend.
Always an inspiration!!!Thanks for hosting Cindy.
LOVE how you have the hydrangeas on a 3 tier cake stand! I would have never thought of that. :)
Hydrangeas are my very favorite flower as well. How did you dry them so well. I have tried twice to dry them from the hydrangeas in my garden and both times they got moldy and rotted looking. What am I doing wrong? I linked up to your party. Thanks so much for hosting.
Love your hydrangeas! You have shown them in so many pretty ways. Thank you for the inspiration.
Cindy
I just adore hydrangeas. Dried, fresh, they are just the best!! I can't wait to have some fresh ones available again!
