Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  This week I'm sharing some vintage silver I've picked up over the years at flea markets.  They are just so pretty and so hard to resist when I find them at a good price!
I love the old monogrammed pieces...

Beautiful silverware. I love the monogram pieces, too. I often wonder who were they and how their silverware ended up at a sale? Lucky for you...they are beautiful pieces.

Hi Cindy, I guess my timing for your newest blog is perfect! Three things...1. Your silver is breathtaking. I especially love the ribbon color.
2. Don't tell the guy(s) about your blog...you will want to vent to us. (I'm guessing)
and 3. Thank you for hosting Show and Tell Fridays. *hugs*

Oh Cindy those are sooo pretty. I
love the monogram pieces too. Don't
you wonder whose they were and if
they were wedding presents to anyone. I always do that to things
I get at flea markets. You have a

Old silver is a treasure at Linderhof as well -- and I'm green over your pieces. And I love monograms, names, inscriptions -- they USED to be cheaper, alas not always now!

Thanks for sharing -- at least the pieces are now loved!

Love your silver pieces you have been collecting! I just picked up a wooden silver storage case at the thrift store for a couple dollars. I have some silver myself (mostly in my hair now a days)!

Cindy,

I feel the same way about silver, especially the monogramed pieces. I often wonder how many special occasion dinners, holiday dinners etc. these pieces served. Also, I always feel good about rescuing old silver and returning them to a place of honor.
