I found this cute little tote box at the thrift store awhile ago. It was cute as it was but it was a little dirty and the price sticker had discolored the paint on the top left side. Also, it was the wrong colors for my home but for $3 I didn't want to pass it up because I knew all it needed was a little paint.
I added a rose applique to each side and painted it white and distressed it a little.
I'm going to use it for buffet style meals to hold the flatware wrapped in napkins.
Someone asked about the bluebird plates on my last post. They are made by The Salem China company. Click here to see my post about them last February when I bought them. I've never been able to find out any more about them.
