Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Here we are on my 3rd week of hosting Show and Tell Fridays. Fridays seem to roll around so much more quickly now! I didn't even get a chance to take new pictures of something to share with you this week so I'm reposting some photos of my birdhouse I bought at a flea market earlier this year.

Can you believe I got this birdcage for only $25!!! It was black when I bought it. You can see what it looked like in my original post...just click here. The plan was to move my finches in here but it didn't work out because Beau, my chihuahua would not stop barking and jumping on the cage so now it's just a decorative cage. It's one of my favorite flea market finds and one of my favorite makeover projects!
If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate. If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link. If your link has been removed from MckLinky, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting, or e-mail me with any questions.

Thank you! I look forward to seeing everyone's posts...it may take me awhile to get around to visit everyone since I work full time but I'll do my best to get to your blog as soon as I can!

It's beautiful and looks perfect in your home. Of course white was the only way to go with it! I must say I am a little curious where your finches are now (does your dog not try to get at them currently?).

Your birdcage is awesome! And a great price. I have bought many new ones over the years raising birds and they are expensive. And it looks perfect in white!!

I will try to think of something fun to post next week if I can...

Have a great weekend, Cindy! :-)

Lovely bird cage! It looks much better since you painted it. It's funny that your dog kept barking at it.

I remember this birdcae when you redid it...it's beautiful! Too bad you can't put your finch in it . I wouldn't be able to put a bird that close to our dogs either. They already all gather around & freak it out when I clean it's cage or feed it. They're just hoping to get a bite...of my parakeet!

It's my first time playing in Shwo N Tell...thanks for hosting!

That bird cage really was such an incredible find! I have looked for one like it ever since your original post, and have not found anything that comes close to that. My poor birdie is still in his ugly cage, and now I feel so guilty!
