Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! I'm so excited...my lilacs have started blooming!  I can tell already though that this is not going to be a good year for them.  I don't have nearly as many buds as I've had in previous years!  I think it's because it didn't get very cold this winter and we didn't have much rain.

This is all that's blooming now but hopefully soon there will be many more!

I also noticed that my Eden rose has buds on it already!  That makes me really happy! I can hardly wait to have big bouquets of those!

I just had my 6th day at my new job and it's still going very well!  I'm so happy to be working again!  My daughter just got a new job too! She goes to college in the morning and works at a bakery in the afternoon! I told her that I forbid her to bring home any baked goods!  Haha! We don't need those extra calories!

If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden.  If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog.

Thanks to all of you that join in every week!

That's so funny about the baked goods! Our neighbor sent cookies over last night, and I packed every single one up this morning to go to Abby's school. Get it outta here! Thanks for hosting Cindy, xo, Andrea

I love the buttery-warm and cozy light diffused through the lilacs; really nice layout. It's one of my favorite color combinations, a muted but pleasing variation of a more vibrant glitter-gold and purple.

Very happy you and your daughter have new jobs; uplifting for you and a great start still early in the year. In actuality, you got re-employed very quickly, which is nice to know can still happen to good people in this troubled economy/job market.

Congratz to you both...a sigh and relief with a capital "R."

Cindy I am so glad your job is working out. I am so glad Lauren got her a job doing something she likes. If she could only bring the goodies home and leave the calories at the bakery.
That would be great! Your Lilacs
are beautiful again this year. I hope you and Lauren have a wonderful weekend.
