I have a thing for white picket fences with roses growing on them and I especially love the white on white look! You may remember the beach house post I did awhile back.
Last night after work I was going to a friend's home (he's actually more than just a friend but I'll leave it at that for now; wink-wink) and I parked my car on his street in front of this home...I didn't have my camera so I just snapped these with my iPhone to share with you!
I know there are lots of you out there that love a white picket fence as much as I do!! Right?
The home of my dreams would have a white picket fence!

I looooove white picket fences! It's my dream to have one someday. We looked at an apartment before we got this one that had an area outside you were allowed to fence yourself, I was so excited at the thought of putting a white picket one up...probably the closest I'll ever get. We didn't get that apt. so no white picket fence for now.

My mother always loved white picket fences. As a kid, I just remember the hard work in keeping them repaired and painted.
I think the white plastic would work good in todays landscaping.

In fact, to quote MS, I once read her to say, "you should never skimp on good quality fencing material. No cattle fencing, please (read: 6ft privacy fences) or cheap plastic material. Use good wooden pickets!"

My backyard neighbor put up a white picket fence and I just love it. Of course my side neighbor put up the "cattle fence". ugh!

My daddy made a white picket fence to go around mom's flowerbed back in the late 60's and would you believe I still have it. It is around my flowerbed now. It's all shabby chic now but I love it. OMG Cindy, I about fainted when I saw those beautiful roses. They do look great against the white fence.
After reading your post below about the memory card for your camera, my son taught me something I never knew existed. On the side of the memory card there is a really tiny sliding switch that can be slid up or down. By sliding it you make the sd card write protected or not. Hope this helps you.
With a fence and rose garden as pretty as that, there is no doubt the home is equally spectacular. If only we could peek inside!

I love your post. The picket fence with white roses is just yummy. It reminds me of a recent walk through Key West and all the marvelous fences and flowers every house had. I used my iphone too, and blogged about it also.
