A sneak peek and more

Pin It Now!

Here's a little sneak peak of some of the things I found at the two flea markets I went to last weekend. These will be listed in my etsy shop...that is if I can part with them! Those little pink dishes above are butter pats...aren't they adorable!

I love this beautiful monogrammed towel!
This old door knob is a light amethyst color...it's gorgeous! Shopping for these things is so much fun! I think doing this for a living would be the greatest job ever but since I can't I'll just enjoy my new little side job! I bought a lot more and it will all be in my etsy shop as soon as I can find the time to upload it all!

Love these etched champagne glasses!

I have always been partial to glass door knobs, especially antique ones. I have one on a closet door at my shop. So I took the door off and painted it a gloss black and used it as a display. That glass door knob just glistens on it!

Those crystal doorknobs are gorgeous, love the way they sparkle and that little bit of color in them. I just bid on a similar pair in a silent auction, I'm thinking it might be worth upping my bid!

Very pretty butter pats,leave the
door knob outside in the sun and
it will turn lavender,from the
lead that goes into making it.
I have a whole collection of them
some different than the others.:O)

Love your new old things Cindy. I would have picked those etched champagne glasses up in a sec! Only thing about Alameda is it's so big that it's impossible to see it all, but it sure is fun trying!

Love the butter pats! They are the same pattern as a Tea Pot I was given about 38 years ago. So beautiful with dainty roses. Liked all your stuff.

I have followed your blog for the last few years and have always been drawn in by the personal touch of it and the lovely photos of your home. I am very happy for your continued growing success and recognition. However, the latest change seems to lack the personal warmth of the previous designs. The new look is very professional and crisp and while the close-up photos across the top are pretty, they don't welcome me to your hearth, so to speak. The blog is certainly taking on a corporate accent with the presence of paid advertisers. I now feel like I'm looking at a glossy magazine. Oh well, nothing is constant except change, but I'm already missing the homey warmth of the previous designs.
