Show and Tell

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! This week I'm sharing my old pitcher I bought on eBay about this time last year. Sorry...I'm actually using those old photos from last year too because I didn't get a chance to take new ones.

I fell in love with this the minute I saw it and the timing was perfect because I had just gotten a tax refund. Unfortunately this year there isn't any tax refund to spend on something fun. I owe the IRS but luckily I can pay them with the refund I'm getting from the state.
If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate. If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog. If your link has been removed from MckLinky, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting, or e-mail me with any questions.Thank you! I look forward to seeing everyone's posts...it may take me awhile to get around to visit everyone since I work full time but I'll do my best to get to your blog as soon as I can!

Hello there sweet lady,

My oh my,I am taken with your fetching pitcher with that darling cherub motif, filled with those fabulously beautiful pink roses with the tints and whispers of celadon green on those roses!~Oh my, the lace tablecloth on the table, the white cupboard with those very pretty dishes and those crystal chandelier candlesticks create a restful, oh so utterly dreamy vignette dear Cindy!

I am so excited to partake with your 'Show And Tell Friday' this week, I do hope that you can pop by and see my pretty pastel, dreamy 'Easter Tea Table' as well! (Many of the pieces are finds from over the years, as well as many were also gifts that I have to'Show and Tell' about this week).

Have a wonderful Friday and a marvelous weekend; I'm glad you had such a delightful day with your dear friend in San Fransisco!

Such fun for the two of you!..,

~I'm also looking forward to that Napa Valley trip of yours and your photo 'blog' tour!..,

Cheers and hugs from Wanda Lee @ The Plumed Pen

That pitcher is beautiful and the tea cups are too. The cups are so sweet and delicate. I'm sorry to hear that you won't have a tax refund to buy something special, but it's always nice when you have the money to easily pay what you owe. Oh well, maybe next year. Thanks for allowing us to link up to your site each week for Show and Tell Friday. It always starts off the weekend with a bang!

Hello Cindy~ ~ ~

Yes the pitcher is lovely and I adore the boboches on the crystal candle sticks. Are they vintage too or did you purchase them new. I would love to have a few like that with dripping crystals. Thanks and make it a fun weekend.

Dear Miss Cindy,

Just finished catching up with your past few weeks. I must tell you my adventure in finding the Feb. issue of Romantic Homes 2010. I first called Romantic Homes "Back Issues" and they told me they didn't have Jan. or Feb. 2010 issues. That bummed me out, and kind of put a damper on my looking for them. I tried ebay... and found some bundled issues going for pretty high money. I tried amazon.com too to no avail. I'd all but given up, when out of the blue I remembered the "dealers list" in the back of the magazine where it lists all the individual gift shops and stores that carry the magazine. I thought, "one of these places has to have a back issue or two". Make a long story short, I was able to locate through websites or email a shop that had the past issues I was looking for. I FOUND YOUR ARTICLE! I was so upset when time kept passing by and I wasn't able to find the Feb. 2010 issue. They did a good article on you, and the photos were lovely. Just in case anyone wants to know where I got it from, or you need to refer people to try to find a copy through this method closer to their homes, I found mine at Simply Stated Aesthetics, Campbell, NY or www.simplystatedaesthetics.com. Rebecca sent me first class mail the two issues I requested, and it was like getting a present from an old friend. It was wrapped in tissue paper, with twine and a business card, along with a note card with a note from Rebecca and my invoice for the order. What a great experience I had after being so disappointed and thinking I was out of luck getting those back issues.

Hugs,
Penny Sue
