I found some cloches for you!

Pin It Now!

I can't tell you how many people have emailed me over the last year or so asking me where I got my etched glass cloche. I got it at Marshalls but they only had two and I never saw them again anywhere. Since I still get so many emails about this I decided to do a google search and see if anyone out there was selling them online and good news...I found some! They look indentical to mine!
I contacted this website yesterday to see how many they had in stock but I haven't heard back from them yet. The website is called "Beyond the Windowsill" and if you click on that it will take you there. They are $38 and the shipping to California was about $20 (which by the way is about what I paid for my cloche at Marshalls). I just thought I would put it out there in case anyone is interested.

(I have no affiliation with this company)

Cindy, this is good information. My friend Marty at A stroll thru life blog has a cloche party once a month I would imagine those ladies would love this information. you should join in on the fun. I will let Marty know about this. They are very pretty, but I like the Marshall's prices better. Kathysue

I also have seen then at Tuesday Morning several times. Not sure if they are still there or not. They were only $20 each. They are even prettier in person, believe it or not!

Hugs,
Joanne

i'm so upset...Yesterday, I mistakenly broke the one i've been using over my cake plate. It took me forever the first time to find the one i wanted and then I go and hit it against the kitchen counter.
Oh well, off to another adventure to find a new one :)
thanks for sharing this site

I must say I love cloches! Mary Carol Garrity's shop Nell Hill carries some as well. Atchison, KS or KC. Love your website. I visit often!

Cindy...Do you know anyhthing about the history of cloches? What are they usually used for? You are a very thoughtful person, always trying to help. Thanks. Sincerely, Susan from writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

The etched cloches really are pretty and I too have been looking for one. I'll have to see if there is a source in Canada which will be cheaper for me.
I agree, very nice of you to source products for fellow bloggers, I do the same when I can.

Susan, they were used in the garden for seedlings and small plants....sort of like a small greenhouse.

Cindy I have two of the large ones like yours, I got mine at Marshalls or ROSS and paid between $10-15 each for them. Then I have a couple little etched ones I found at an antique mall in Seattle. I love them all and everyone always wants mine too.
But I won't part with them!!
