In early November Lauren and I were at the flea market and two vendors there recognized us from my blog! I'm always so surprised when that happens! We emailed back and forth a couple times and then they realized that they also know my parents from many years ago when they used to sell at the flea market! They called my mom "The Bunny Lady" because she made cloth bunnies back then. I think that was probably in the early to mid 90s! Anyway....they (Mary Ann & Chris) invited me to a Christmas tea they do every year. I was asked to bring a finger food so I brought these little green chile cream cheese roll ups above (recipe at the end of this post).I think they said there were 28 people invited to this tea which was held in Chris' lovely home. The tables (1 in the kitchen and 3 in the living room) were beautifully set!
Chile Cream Cheese Roll ups
Mix the cream cheese with the chiles, olives and pimentos. Divide mixture into four equal parts and spread over each tortilla. Roll up tightly and slice into 1/2" pieces. This actually taste best if you wrap the uncut tortilla rolls in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least a few hours or overnight and slice just before you serve them.

you and Lauren. Boy you brought

Oh Cindy, I am going to have to
make your roll-ups. They look
so yummy! That salad looked
very tasty, too. I loved the

do you have any way of finding
out where she got them? I have
snowman dishes I use during the
winter and would love to have
some of those cuties.

I think that dish you brought looks yummy! I think I'm going to make it but use low fat tortillas and cream cheese to make it more WW friendly.
BTW, congrats on your weight loss! You are doing good.
Hugs,

Dear Miss Cindy,
What a lovely tea party. I really enjoyed seeing the varied foods. I tried to guess what most of them were, but that chocolate ganache cake took the show. What is the word on the top of it? It's beautiful! Your roll-ups sound and look wonderful. I love the creative way people use roll-ups and wraps.
Great post! Hugs, Penny Sue

What a beautiful party and so nicely decorated... That salad looks fantastic too... Lately my daughter and I have been putting fruit in salads and using the raspberry/Champagne vinaigrette a lot! Its addicting I think! Diet this time of year? Are you crazy Girl? *Teasing grin*
