How could I resist?

Pin It Now!

There is a Marshall's right behind the company I work for which is why it seems I'm always buying things from Marshalls. I went there last Wednesday on my lunch hour with one of my coworkers and didn't find anything (which is a good thing because I'm running out of room in my little place). Then last Friday I went with another coworker because I didn't have anything better to do at lunch. I really didn't expect to find this "perfect for me" lamp! A lamp is something I don't need! I have a lamp addiction. I have so many that I have lamps I'm not using in the closet! But how could I resist birds and toile! I couldn't because it was only $29. I have it in my kitchen for now but I'm sure it will be moved around to different locations because that's what I usually do. There's even a little bird on top!
I also found this cute little bunny to hold Easter candy. He was marked down to $5.

At the price they are asking for lamps these days, you got a steal of a deal on this little beauty! It is SO you! Mr. Rabbit is pretty cute too. (I think I'm overdue for a trip to Marshall's! LOL!)

I too have a lamp addiction, Cindy! LOVE the lamp. I also have no where to put them all. I have learned I also have a bird addiction, a cherub addiction and a vase and purse addiction. Is there a cure? lol.

I am SO glad to see someone else with lamp addiction. But there really are just too many good vintage style lamps not to bring them home. And you can always use a little more light, right? It prevents eyestrain. So it's, um, a medical necessity. :) (Just trying to help you justify the addiction among my fellow lamp addicts.)

The lamp is very pretty. The bunny, however, is holding my very favorite candy in the whole world. I start looking for those right after Valentine's. Cadbury mini-eggs- yum.

You were obviously meant to go into Marsahalls that day.
A lamp just made for you and a sweet bunny - fabulous

Well of course you had to buy the lamp! What you should have left it alone there and then think about it day after day. You totally did the right thing, and saved yourself a lot of stress and tension! Enjoy the lamp!!!

Great lamp, and how could you pass up that bunny? Wish I had a Marshall's close. Wait. No, I don't. I'd have even more stuff than I do now!

*and another vote YAY for the Cadbury eggs!*

Oh Cindy,

That lamp is perfect for you. It just had to be beckoning for you to come and take a closer look. I would have bought it too. You have so many places you can put it, because your kitchen, bedroom, and living room, all have blue. Have fun moving it around, and enjoy! Great price too!

I couldn't have resisted either :) I love that lamp! At least lamps are usually small and you don't have a chair addiction like I do... yikes!

Oh my gosh, I LOVE that lamp! I have the same lamp addiction that you do. How funny, I thought I was the only one! My husband walks into a room and always asks the same question - "Why are there so many lamps on in this room?" What can I say? - I love lamps!

I got my issue of Romantic Country today - YIPPEE!! I'm going to settle in this evening with a cup of tea and read that article featuring you! Congratulations again!

Have a great week.

Hugs,
Erin

Blue toile and birds? I don't think I could have resisted either! When I was a little girl, my Godfather owned a lamp shop in Stonestown (yes, the mall is SF). I used to wander through the shop and pick the lamps I loved and the lamps I didn't like at all. To this day, I have a thing for lamps. So it was fun to read that you have more lamps than you need. I have blue toile in my home, too. Who could resist that charming buy?! ~ Arleen
