Nesting & A Blessing

Pin It Now!

Remember the little nest and bird I bought a couple weeks ago? I put them together with some others I had in my favorite tiered stand. First I added some sheet moss and rested everything on top. I just love decorating for Spring! Yes, I know it's only the first week of February! These photo borders can be done in Snapfish (http://www.snapfish.com/).

Look at the china hutch I found on craigslist. Now I need to find $495 to buy it! Haha! How come when I have the money I can't find something good like this? I already imaged myself painting it all white or maybe just painting the back wood a light blue color. Dang....I WANT THIS! Look at all that storage underneath!
And I was given a blessing by Suzy~ New Life at Wild Rose Cottage. Suzy is all the way over in Serbia! I just love how blogging has brought us all together. Go visit her and see the beautiful cottage in her header...I want to live in it!

Okay on with this tag:

The idea…it’s a game of tag with a difference, rather than looking inwardly, we look outside ourselves and bless, praise and pray for 3 blog friends. By participating in this endeavour we not only make the recipient of the blessing feel valued and appreciated, but we are having some fun too. We’re going to see how far the bloggin’ blessings can travel around the world and how many people can be blessed! Recipients of a bloggin’ blessing may upload the above image to their sidebar if they choose to.

Okay, I choose to bless every one who reads this. How could I pick just three!

Yes, that is indeed a wonderful hutch and I can just imagine it in your home. However...the price seems a little high to me for a used piece of furniture (but maybe it's not in CA). Keep watching it...perhaps they will drop the price if it doesn't sell! I see that happen a lot in my local Craigslist. I'll keep my fingers crossed. :)

That is a great china cabinet. I know the feeling, I always find the perfect piece of furniture when I'm broke. And those rare times (and I do mean rare) that I have money... nada. It's the curse of loving decorating as much as we do!

Oh what a great piece! I know how super it would look after you get those talented hands of yours on it!
I will keep a good thought that it becomes yours some way!

The blessings tag was so sweet and dear. YOU are sweet and dear...

I adore that tiered stand and how you have it so artfully arranged!

Have a sweet Tuesday!

Sue

A few hearts would be pretty tossed in the tiered stand.

That's a great hutch and it looks new. It would look good with a pale Robin's Egg blue paint.

Hi Cindy,
I believe that it is never too early for spring!!! I love all the combinations that you make with your "old" and new things.
The china cabinet is gorgeous I can understand that you want it. I hate when I see myself with something but at that moment I don't have enough money! Hope you'll find a way to get it.
Thanks for mentioning me in such a sweet way, you deserve this award!

Hugs, Suzy

I never see things like that hutch in real life. I'd paint the inside pale sea-glass green. Sigh. When I'm done homeschooling, and no longer need the space currently taken up by two ugly bookcases, I'm getting a china-dresser to display... everything!

Oh my, your little nest arrangement would look so nice in my living room! So pretty! Great hutch - I'd love it too only I don't have anyplace to put such a big piece. I could get rid of my couch and put it there :-)!

That hutch is awesome! It'd never fit in my house, but what a find! Sigh! This is why I can't look at cragislist... I get too involved with things there and spend too much time! :-) Your Spring decorations look lovely and your blessing is lovely, too! Thank you for sending us all to Wild Rose Cottage!
