More Blue and White Plates!

Pin It Now!

All of these beautiful plates are gifts from Mary ~Little Red House.
Thank you Mary! I love every single one of them!

I hope every one had a very Merry Christmas. I've already taken down my tree and all my decorations. Once Christmas is over, I'm so tired of it all. It always looks so clean when all the decorations are gone!

Hi Cindy. Lucky you getting those blue & white plates from Mary! As far as I am concerned a girl can never have too many blue & white plates. I collect them too. One of these days I'll post some pictures. I think you and I have similar tastes. Hope youhd a lovely Christmas. Rhondi

What beautiful plates and how very generous Mary is. These will look just fabulous in your "new" kitchen.
I, too, am always just sick of all the Christmas decorations and mine are also down and back up in the attic!

Whata nice gift!
I love blue and white plates, too.
In fact, I think I have one of the same ones you have.
I also have a couple of Flow Blue plates that belonged to my Grandma that I cherish.

Very nice plates. I have the top one in brown and white. I love the scenic one, very different from most. I started at least taking greens down today....the wreath in the kitchen window and the greens on the mantel so far. Looks calmer already!

Wow, I can't believe how many people take down their Christmas decorations as soon as Christmas is over. I like to too, but my family always gives me "attitude" about taking things down BEFORE New Year's Day. So, this year, we are going to compromise. . . I'll leave things as they are for NOW, but I'm taking everything down on Sunday after church WITH THEIR HELP!!

Blessings and best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year.

Wow, you sure work fast. I haven't even thought of taking the decorations away, but then again, I just took them up the day before Christmas.
Lovely plates you got. You have nice friends, that's for sure.

So sweet of her to send you those pretty plates! I'd like to take my stuff down too but my husband and DD won't hear of it! Everyting has to stay up until New Year's Eve (although I did sneak a few things out yesterday). I'm usually tired of the holiday decor by the time Christmas roles around!

Hi Cindy, I always start too early with the decorating (Thanksgiving weekend), so next year I am going to try to hold off until quite close to Christmas. I didn't even put all of the decorations out this year! I think decorating late will take some of the pressure off.
Happy New Year! Kathy L.

Love the plates Cindy, they've certainly gone to a good home, your photos are fantastic! I'm wanting to take our tree down too, we usually do it after New Years day. Can't tell you how much I enjoyed the Victoria magazine!
How's the painting coming along?

I too have a collection of blue and white plates, there are certainly alot of us out there!
The thought of packing up chrissy makes me want a cup of tea, or something stronger! So much effort to put up, I want to enjoy it a bit longer...someone told me you should leave the tree up till the 6th January, so Im aiming for that!
Yours were so gorgeous, but I understand the clean look, cant wait for that either!

Hi Cindy,
I love your plate collection. I also love plates and have them everywhere. Aren't they just the greatest little accent to any room? I hear you on taking down the Christmas decorations. I took mine down already too. It does feel so good to have a cleaned up house after the holidays! Have a wonderful New Year! Amy

Mary is such a sweet and generous lady. I know you were excited to get them and incorporate them into your beautiful blue and white home. I hope the painting projects are going well. I was going to paint some furniture starting today through the weekend but we're having too much rain. Since the furniture is going in my granddaughter's "big girl" room, I'm anxious to get it done cause she keeps asking me where's her "big girl" bed. Can't let the little darlin' down!
