Don't laugh

Pin It Now!

Last night was our last night of cake decorating classes and we had to decorate a whole cake. In my mind I thought my cake would turn out perfectly...but it didn't! The side of the cake started collapsing. My daughter's cake did the same thing and so did 2 other of our classmates. I'm bringing it to work today....a cake for me, from me, for Admin's Day. I anxious to try another cake now. I'm sad that the class is over, we had so much fun. They are having an intermediate class in the fall so I think I'll sign up for that.
To all the Administrative Professionals out there, I hope you have a great day!

Oh, I love your cake. It looks like it is crashing from two pounds of frosting and icing flowers. What a way to go! Bet it tastes good just the same! Happy Admin Day to all!

I think the cake looks yummy and wonderful! I tried a cake decorating class once. It is hard!!!! I think the hardest part of the whole process was making sure the frosting, room temp, etc. was right BEFORE even trying to make the design! I would like a slice where the roses are please... Happy admin day from one to the other! Cheerio from Esther Sunday!

When I see pink roses on a cake, I notice nothing else. Wish I had a piece (with lots of roses on it!)

Well, Cindy..it looks great from the top, LOL. And I'm sure it tastes great too. I'm sure the girls at your office loved it too. I was an Admin. professional for many, many years myself.

Mmmmm, it looks yummy! I took a brief cake-decorating class as a teenager, and I could NOT get the hang of making roses. Yours are beautiful. and pink. :)

oh! you did good on the roses. i could never get that down. i took a cake decorating class right before dan and i got married. it's harder than it looks. we had to bring a whole cake EVERY class. two 8" round cakes. i learned a lot though, just never got the roses down. anyway, the best part is the eating! yum! (btw, i love those marble countertops too...that i had in my "white kitchens"...they're so old-fashioned looking.) have a good one. blessings.

Your roses are absolutely fabulous on that cake... So what if the top is a bit wavy.... Adds to the charm! You are soooo talented!

Cindy I'm so sorry your cake broke, but it is beautiful. I'm sure I could not do such a good job on my first one. I finally got around to joining Inspiration Friday--come see. xoxo
