Dried Peonies

Pin It Now!

Peonies don't grow very well in California. At least that's what I've heard but I've never tried growing them myself. I found this website, Vermont Dried Peonies that sells beautiful dried peonies. The pictures above are from their website but click on the link above to see more. I think I'm going to order the top bunch to put in my bedroom that I'm redecorating.

I love Peonies, I have decided this year I am going to plant some. Keep your fingers crossed please. I am rather like Dr. Death when it comes to most plants but I am determined to grow Peonies.

Peonies are one of my favorites. We can grow them here okay and I bring in lots when they`re in season and then after a couple of days I catch them before they start losing their petals and put them all above my kitchen cupboards to dry.

What gorgeous peonies! We have a peony bush in the front of our home but I can never bring myself to cut off the flowers once they bloom to bring inside - they are just so beautiful. Your bouquet is stunning.

Oh my goodness! Peonies are one of my most favorite flowers. I had no idea you could buy them dried. I was so excited that I went to the website and called to place and order, but alas, they are done for the season =( I now have to wait until June to call and place an order... Oh well, something to look forward to this summer. Thanks so much for sharing their website. Debbie

It is useful to try everything in practice anyway and I like that here it's always possible to find something new. :)
