Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

I LOVE White!, originally uploaded by Romantic Home.

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  I can't believe it's already July, this year is flying by so fast!  I took vacation days today and tomorrow so I could stretch my 3-day weekend into 5 days!

Today the painters were here painting my staircase wall. It's the only place I wasn't able to paint myself because it's too high.  It was beige and I had them paint it white so it would look a little brighter up there.  I LOVE freshly painted walls and I even love the smell of fresh paint!

I still need to rehang my mirrors but I can't decide if I should maybe not put so many up this time.

I had planned on taking some new photos for show and tell today but the painters were here most of the day. It took 3 coats of paint to cover beige with white...who knew?

So anyway, in honor of my love of white I thought I would share some of the white things around my home for Show and Tell today!

If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate. If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog. If your link has been removed, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting, or e-mail me with any questions.Thank you! I look forward to seeing everyone's posts...it may take me awhile to get around to visit everyone since I work full time but I'll do my best to get to your blog as soon as I can!

Hi Cindy!

I love the smell of house paint, too. I was disappointed when the last paint we used had "no odor." Dang!

Three coats? That must have been some stubborn beige!

As for putting back all the mirrors --- why not? Less is more? Bah, humbug! If you've got them, flaunt them.

Have a lovely holiday weekend.
