Banana Crumb Muffins

Pin It Now!

I had some overly ripe bananas but I didn't want to make the usual banana bread so I did a google search on "banana muffins" and found this amazing recipe!!!  I was shocked at how good the reviews were. It seemed like everyone loved them!  That's always a good sign...
The cinnamon crumb topping is what makes these so good and oh boy are they ever good!!!   I ran out of regular cupcake liners but I remembered that I had bought these fancy ones when Lauren and I took our cake decorating class last year. I had planned to use them for chocolate cupcakes but never made them.  They worked out perfectly for these muffins because they keep the crumb topping in place!  It sure makes the muffins look like they came from a bakery or Starbucks, doesn't it?
The recipe is from the All Recipes website (click on that to get the recipe).  The only change I made was to add a teaspoon of Vanilla.

oooooo Cindy, those look delectable. But I think they would be problematic for me...I'd want to scarf down the whole plateful. Trying to lose and the food plan doesn't called for banana muffins. Darn. Loved looking at them, though! Sincerely, Susan

Those look and sound like they would be so good. You sure have been baking and making icecream like a pro these days. How do you do it? Being on WW is hard enough without all the tempting yummy things you are making. You must have the best will power.

Hugs,
Joanne

This is perfect timing - I've been on a banana bread kick for the past month and looking for some new recipes. The wrappers do give it a patisserie look!
Happy week to you,

Hi Cindy:

I am an avid follower of your blog...

I just returned from a long walk about an hour ago....checked on my favorite blogs...saw your post/recipe.

Just so happens I had 3 ripe bananas witting on top of my fruit bowl. Guess what I did? I immediately pulled up this recipe and whipped up a batch.

Isn't this one of the things that makes blogging so wonderful?

I'm about to sit down with a cup of tea and try one. They smell heavenly and look fabulous.

Thanks for what you do, and never underestimate the effect you have on the people who look forward to reading your blog.

Best,
