Christmas Tree 2015 - Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!

I usually decorate for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving but this year I couldn't wait to get my tree up!

I received an email recently that Tree Classics wanted to send me an artificial Christmas Tree!  I have been wanting an artificial tree for a few years now for many reasons.
  1. I'm tired of the mess that real trees make (mess dragging it in the house and a major mess taking it out when the needles are dropping everywhere)
  2. I hate how they seem to dry out so easily
  3. I worry about turning on the lights when they are so dried out
  4. My allergies get so bad every year when I bring a live tree in my home (it took me years to figure out that my allergies in Nov/Dec where due to the live tree filled with pollen in my home)
  5. Real trees are so expensive for something that only lasts a few weeks
Even if someone was offering me a free artificial Christmas Tree I didn't want something that looked like a cheap artificial tree! I was so pleased when I looked at their website and saw how beautiful their trees are!  I also must mention that their prices are very reasonable considering the quality!

I chose their 7 1/2 foot Kennedy Fir Slim Tree with clear lights.  It is great that they offer slim trees because that's all I have room for in my small apartment! They even offer trees with flat backs so they can go up against the wall!

When the box arrived a few weeks ago I opened it up and couldn't believe how real it looked and then I felt it and it actually feels real! So weird...I know!  Their website said it has "Highly realistic Real-Feel™ needles" but I really didn't expect it to feel that real!  What a pleasant surprise!

Here is some close-ups of the branches...

I wish you could reach in your screen and touch these!  Everyone that's seen it so far can't believe it's not real!

They have so many different trees it's really hard to make a decision...sort of like being a kid in a toy store!

If you want to see some beautiful inspiration photos of gorgeous trees, check out their "In the News" page and see what celebrities have these trees! Gorgeous trees!

And I have some exciting news! They also gave me some ornaments and I'm going to share 1/2 of what they gave me with one of you! Come back next week for the giveaway!

Thanks for hosting! I have an artificial tree (two!) for all the reasons you stated...mostly because I can put it up very early and not worry about it going brown!! It's lovely.

I love this tree, mine got wet and moldy so I need a new narrow tree. I have a big room but 11 people and dozens of presents that need to be around the tree. You are so wonderful to help with your ex. You may be giving him purpose and joy.

Cindy, the tree is lovely. Like you, the slim line trees work best in our home too. I bought one two years ago and have been extremely happy with it. Glad to see you posting again. Missed you!

So glad you posted again and the tree is amazing! We have had an artificial tree for years- better for allergies , safer with kids and pets.
