Dollar Store Candles - Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!

I decided this week to display some of my shells...something I've been wanting to do ever since I put away my Easter decor but just haven't got around to it!  My poor coffee table was looking so bare...well, not really I had about a million magazines piled on top of it! I got so tired of looking at that mess so I'm happy to have something pretty on there now!

I went to the Dollar Store and bought these candles...3 candles for $3, can't beat that! The plan was to embellish them with some vintage lace but as you can see I didn't get around to doing that yet.  I'm just happy I found the time to put this tray together!

Shells, candles and flowers...just a few of my favorite things! It's always nice when little things like this can make you so happy!

Thanks to all of you that join in on Show and Tell Friday every week and thanks to all of you who leave such nice comments!

Very lovely vignette of items! They're so well coordinated and complement each other perfectly. I even think the candles look great on their own, before adding lace.

That is one of the most beautiful trays I've ever seen! It is perfect and I don't think those candles need anything, their simplicity is a great contrast for its base. Just beautiful!

Hi Cindy..Love the white as always..I don't have much luck at the dollar store..Must be my lack of imagination..

I have not been able to get this beautiful tray out of my mind all day! I studied it and it is all my favorite colors! whites, pale pinks and greens, silver and sea shells! I tried to make my own version with what I had, but didn't have the right pink and green hydrangeas.... I have fresh pink but they will not dry properly. I used the dried blue/green ones, not the same :-( Your tray made my day today!

What a beautiful arrangement! I love sea shells and living on the coast, it's the perfect décor theme around these parts! I always see those candle at the dollar store but they have religious pictures on them. Were yours purchased without pictures or did you have to remove them somehow? Thanks!~TJ
