Help!

Pin It Now!

Another Update:  Sorry but, if you have my button on your side bar, you will have to grab the new code to update it!  Slowly but surely, I'm getting my blog restored.

Update:  I got my header back!!!  A HUGE thank you to Mikey, who had saved a copy of my banner!  knows about Google Spiders (which I know nothing about) and was able to find my header, signature and blog button!  He really saved the day!  Please go send him some blog love at his beautiful blog. His kitchen, if you haven't already seen it is absolutely gorgeous!!!  His blog: Shabby French Cottage   Thank you, thank you, thank you Mikey!!!!

Waking up and finding my header missing was not fun!  I didn't even have any coffee yet and couldn't even think about what to do!  Now I'm worried about Amber from the Shabbee Cottage, who designed my blog.  Does anyone know what happened to her? I sure hope she is okay!!!

Please excuse the look of my blog! I lost my beautiful banner at the top!  I had it designed years ago by Amber from the Shabbee Chick but she seems to have disappeared from blogland.  If anyone knows how to reach her please let me know!

Cindy who's photobucket account is that? and did she send you a jpeg of the banner or did she load for you? If its your photobucket account delete some pictues or upgrade.I'm assuming it was hers. If you can't get in touch with her I have photo shop and can make you a banner to help =)

For important images on my site, I have a seperate, published, but unlinked page that hosts my logos, background images, buttons, etc...the important stuff. I'd be happy to do that for you (free), too or walk you through it, too...I can FB message you my phone number. The rest I host through Picasa Web Albums/Google Docs. I pay around $20 a year for 80 gigabytes of file storage through Google. It's fab, and I can access things from anywhere with a computer and internet access! Yikes, I hope you get it back!

I have a Pro Photobucket account to host the ad buttons on my site but this header image was on her Photobucket account! The email I sent her bounced back. I do have a large ad she did for me that looks just like my header so I may try to make that work. I need to have some more coffee before I even can attempt that though! Ugh!!!

You have so many lovely pics from your blog. Perhaps you could go to picnik and create your own banner. Or go visit Brenda at Cozy Little House. She is always creating her own banners and if you want one professionally done she has the names of women who can do that for you. Good Luck!

Hugs,
Susan and Bentley

If it calms your nerves any to know you are not alone, I visited another blog this morning that had all those boxes of "Look who's popular!" but for the life of me, I can't remember which blog it was right now. However, my point is, maybe it's not just your blog but perhaps a wide-spread Photobucket problem. Hopefully??? Anyway, good luck!

Just popping back to say it's Tina @ Cherry Hill Cottage that appears to have the same problem this morning.

Shari, Amber also designed Tina's blog! It looks like Tina lost her background also. Luckily the only thing I lost were my header and my "advertise here" button. I can make a new button though.

Thanks, Cindy!!! I can't take all the credit--Google's spiders did the saving! I just had to find it!

Hi Cindy,

Amber designed mine too..I sent her a note a while ago about some updates I wanted and I never heard back from her. I am having trouble with my background, I opened my blog and its gone...oh no..
I don't know whats going on either.
I think its time for me to re-design my blog...
If I find out anything I'll drop you a note..
Elizabeth

Mikey, you do deserve all the credit because you knew how to fix it!!

Elizabeth, my email to her bounced back so it's not even an active email address anymore.

Oh Cindy, I'm so sorry about your header disappearing. Oh, Lordy, could that happen to any of us?

Hope it all gets resolved soon. I LOVE your blog. It was the very first one I ever saw in blogland so it will always be special to me.

Hi Cindy,

I googled The Shabbee Chick Designs and found your blog had the same problem because of the designer's photobucket account.

I just restored a website that she had done and saved all the images. If you have your images on your computer it can be done.

If you want me to do that for you, please let me know. I will do it for a donation in your offering at your church :)

Cindy I noticed this problem early this morning. Tina's blog, Becky's blog "Sweet Cottage Dreams" had the same problem. Hope everyone is able to fix it.

hi cindy....yup, problems for me, too. elsie guided me in your direction as did elizabeth. amber did all of our blogs..and yellow farmhouse, too. karen (YF) lost her whole blog design. i just lost my side stripes. if you can direct me to how to get those back, i'd appreciate it. mikey may be able to help? just don't want to impede on the graciousness of others..but it is rather stressful.

happy new year, too!

Amber isn't doing her design work anymore. I had a banner designed by her and after trying to reach her, to no avail, decided I had better redesign my blog on my own. She eventually contacted me, but was very clear that she would do no more work for me or anyone else. Looks like you got it solved.

Oh my gosh, I was just popping over to tell you that your button had disappeared from my sidebar! I'll get the new code and fix it now:)

Not a fun way to start your day I'm sure!!!

You looks so beautiful in your profile pic Cindy!

Hey Cindy,
It sounds like amber is AWOL. You should place your banners and buttons in your pro photobucket. Also keep a copy at home just on case. I am so glad Mikey was able to help you. Talk about drama.

Okay on a positive note, I referenced your blog and linked back to you on this week's post for being so inspirational and turning me on to a particular chintz.

Thanks for always being so inspiring and willing to share! This incident could have happened to any of us, in fact it seems that it has. We all now know to keep all of our own images. I really would have not thought of that.

Good luck on the job. Hope it comes through for you. The roses are lovely. I have to ask.... Why was your boss talking to Mary Tyler Moore? How cool is that?
