Show and Tell Friday!

Pin It Now!

Sorry for being away so long! I guess I've been a little distracted lately with the new guy and ya know the San Francisco Giants did win the World Series this week!!!  Wow, that was amazing for us here in the SF Bay Area!  Okay..I just had to mention that but now on to Show and Tell Friday...

This week I'm sharing one of my birthday presents!  My coworker (and friend) Lia made me this for my birthday back in September!   Her husband is in construction and he pulled these windows out of an old home and was throwing them away but Lia rescued them....

and made these beautiful signs with rub-on letters!  I saw this one at her birthday party in August and mentioned that I loved that quote so she made me one!  I love it!!
Thank you Lia!!!

Just so you know...I won't be posting photos of guys I date on my blog because you never really know how long the relationships will last and I don't want to look back through my blog some day and see all these guys I used to date!  I know some of you probably want to see them (I know I would) but I just can't do it.  Sorry!
If you are joining in on Show and Tell Friday, please remember that your Show and Tell needs to be something from your home or garden. Please read the Show and Tell Guidelines for step-by-step instructions on how to participate. If you would like to join in, please enter your name and leave your exact Show and Tell blog post link, not just your blog link and as a common courtesy link back to my blog. If your link has been removed, please re-read over the guidelines before re-posting, or e-mail me with any questions.

Thank you!

Lia is a very good friend to rescue the window for your gift. And it certainly turned out fab! I love your special displays and the wonderful blues you use, thanks again for hosting such a superb link party. And I think you have made the right decision on the boyfriends;) It's been my experience men fancy their privacy as well lol

Looks like you've been doing some redecorating. If you ever have a free moment, we'd love to see it. I really like the birds under the cloche. Your friend was so nice to make that sign for you.

I think you are correct in not adding your dates' pictures. Unless you have their permission to show us, they do have their right to privacy.

Glad you are having a good time with it all!

Looks like the linky thing isn't working right now, but I'll try again later.

Very cool window! It looks like it would be really difficult to put the letters on. Maybe your friend could do a tutorial for us :-)
Thanks for hosting another great party!

Thanks for hosting again this week. So far, I have not prepared a post to participate this week. :( I think you are smart not posting the pictures and keeping your personal life private - Just my opinion.
Have a great weekend.

Hi Cindy -- Love the window sign; what a thoughtful and well-done gift from your friend. I will look now with more interest at curbside windows.

As far as pics of your fella -- keep him to yourself! Enjoy some privacy, my dear, and have fun.

Thanks for hosting!

The sign I want on, I will have to look for an old window or maybe even a thrift shop wooden frame?
