Welcome to Show and Tell Friday! My weakness...vintage linens! Pillowcases are my favorite, second only to tablecloths! There's nothing like a sweet-smelling, snowy-white vintage pillowcase to lay your head on every night!
It's just amazing the work that went into these. My favorites are the ones with the blue embroidery and also the ones with the long drippy crocheted lace edging.
This is a cute little baby pillow that I use on my small chairs.

They are all so very pretty Cindy!
Will you be putting a selection of vintage linens in your Etsy shop? I'm on the lookout for some vintage white frilly/fancy napkins.

I love vintage linens too! They don't make them like they used to. I remember my grandmothers "tatting" the edges of their pillow cases. You have some wonderful linens. Thanks for hosting Show and Tell Friday again! Love your new look too!
I have a fondness for vintage linens, too. Have gotten a few at a local flea market and on the look out for more.

Those linens are so beautiful. They are so special with all the hard work that went into them. They sure found a good home with the care and value that you'll give them.
You've collected some beautiful linens!

BEAUTIFUL, THERE ALL JUST BEAUTIFUL!!! :p
Ahhh, vintage linens! Always my favorite things to shop for at flea markets and shows like Warrenton. :-)
Yours are absolutely lovely!
Happy Friday!

Beautiful! I have two addictions: linens and dishes!
I am a total sucker for old linens, especially those with hand work. LOVE the piece with the embroidered "C" which just HAPPENS to be my initial!
Love pillowcases, too. I have a great big Victorian linen bed pillow cover -- the type that would fold down over the top of the blankets and keep the pillows fresh -- and it is dripping in LONG hand crocheted lace on 3 sides... and I can't find it! It got lost in our last move. I know it's somewhere!
Thanks for hosting... Cass
This is definitely one of my weaknesses too! You've got a lovely collection, I remember seeing them in your hutch stacked one on top of another and made me swoon. They're getting harder to find lately. Love the history and time spent to create such beautiful pieces.
Oh how I would love to have some of the vintage linens in your collection Cindy! They're beautiful! I'm wondering the same thing as Candy. Will you be adding any to your Etsy shop?
LOVE the new blog design, Cindy! Soo beautiful and fresh! Your linens are wonderful, too. I'm going to have to start looking for pillowcases... :)
Just want to say I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your new format! Congratulations!
Hi Cindy,

So very pretty!
I adore vintage linens. Pillowcases and tea towels are my faves! Your photos are lovely.
Cindy, I absolutely LOVE your blog, have just spent over 2 hours looking at old posts, and if it wasn't past midnight here in Australia I would stay on a whole lot longer, just found it after doing a search on painting furniture, and yes even here it's one of the fist few listings (re oct 2008 post). Just in the beginning stages of redecorating/painting furniture/renovating and love this style you do... hope it's ok to use your work as inspiration. Keep up they great work!!! will definately be a regular reader.
Oh my....... they are so lovely.. they take my breath away. I am thinking I need to get new linen pillow cases now:)
Blessings!
Gwen
