I'm having a party!

Pin It Now!

Last year at this time I hosted a Year in Review Party on my blog and I'm doing it again this year! It will be this Thursday! Sorry for the late notice but I hope at least some of you can join in! It's a chance to look through old photos that you posted on your blog over this last year and share your favorites in one post. You can either do a photo mosaic or just post individual photos. Click here to see mine from last year. I'll put MckLinky up early Thursday morning if you would like to join in!

Please feel free to use the image above to spread the word!!!

(thank you all so much for the wonderful comments and emails about my exciting news! I loved reading all of them)

Cindy, congratulations on your magazine feature! I have been reading your blog over two years now and it amazes me how you are able to write one almost every day! I actually started a blog because I loved reading yours.

Your home and your decorating ideas always inspire me and have followed your painting techniques on several pieces in my home.

Due to only having dial-up internet service, I don't post alot of comments daily but I do want you to know that I am a faithful follower and that I do love your blog writing/pictures and decorating ideas. I also love the home tours, vacation pictures, and trips to the flea markets.

AGAIN, congratulations. You deserve every bit of the recognition!!

Best wishes for a great New Year!

Ooooh! I wanna play! I'll have to learn how to make a photo mosaic, and how to use McLinky. After this week, I'll definitely need a lie-down, all the excitement and new techno-skills!

I should try and do this. I need to learn how to do the mosaic and also Mr Slinky. I am just too slow at all this. I just learned how to use the strike key.....duh.

Can't wait to see the magazine. Congratulations! I have a question for you. I made a mosaic using the site you linked to for your blog post on Thurs. I am having trouble inserting it into my post. When I insert the html it only comes up as a small thumbnail photo. Is there a way of adjusting the size of the mosaic. I would love your help so I can link to your year end party. Blessings...Sherry

That's a great idea! I'll look forward to seeing what everyone has to post.

I won't join as most of my photos have nothing to do with decorating, and my decorating style is kind of quirky anyway but I'm learning alot from your blog!

Cindy,
Since I am blogger of only a few months, I will wait until next year when I have a full year to review. I will however, joyfully stop by to see the other reviews. See you then.

Cindy, this is my first comment for you and I am happy to say that I am no longer "lurking", hate that word by the way.

You have a fabulous blog. Thank you for decorating your world and posting about it so that it decorates my life as well.

I love all your pictures, especially about San Jose and Santa Cruz. I was raised in San Jose. Went to Andrew Hill High. I loved going to Santa Cruz almost every weekend. Most of my favorite childhood memories are from S.C. and Capitola.

I don't have a subscription to Romantic Homes, but while waiting for my husband in B&N last night I pulled one off the rack and sat down to read. What a lovely layout and beautiful words of your parents. They really have alot to be proud of. You Too!!
Thanks again for sharing your life and have a most Happy New Year!

Cindy,

Just left a congratulatory comment on your prior post! Romantic Homes definitely has good taste when choosing people to feature in their magazine.

Looking forward to a Year in Review.
