Friendships Made Here!

Pin It Now!

This is just amazing! These two wonderful women met in the comments section of my blog and are now real-life friends! About a year and a half ago Shari (on the right in the photo above) emailed Debbie about a comment she had left on one of my posts. They emailed back and forth and quickly became online friends. Recently Debbie from New Jersey went to visit with Shari at her home in Florida for 8 days!

Shari told me they have so much in common. The were born just 3 weeks apart in the same year! Little did I know when I started this little blog that something this wonderful would happen! Isn't this great?

They sent me a beautiful gift from Florida. I'll have to show it later in the week

FYI: The Debbie that is showing up in the stories below (under, "you might like these Stories") is a different Debbie.

It just goes to show you what a comment will do.
Look at all the friendship to be made out there!
I live only minutes away from Tarpon Springs too. So I know they had a good time.

Blogging can be a blessing in disguise. You just never know. I didn't think when I started my blog that I would ever meet anyone. But I've met three in person, You, Joanne and Lisa.

So you just never know......

Such a charming story. The internet really has closed up distances for like minded souls. So neat that you were a part of a cool friendship. :-)

Cindy,
That is such lovely story. I have met some nice people online especially one girl who shared the same challenge that I did..breast cancer. Thankfully, she, like me, is now cancer free. The human experience is everywhere and whether it be decorating, blogging or some other thing, we all need friends and you have provided this for a lot of us. Thanks for all you give to all of us.

Very cool story.

I have three blogs and have made some dear online friends in various parts of the country, and one in England, although I've yet to meet any of them in person. I hope to one of these days. That would be awesome.

Okay, so I have to tell you it is really, really weird seeing my face on your blog. LOL!

Thanks again Cindy for your role in helping me find my "soul sister." But do you think you could do one more thing? Do you suppose you could convince Debbie (and her family) to move to Florida now so we could have coffee and hit the thrift stores together on a regular basis??? :)
