I love cherubs!

Pin It Now!

If you've been reading my blog for awhile you may have noticed I have "a thing" for cherubs and angels! They are everywhere yet they don't seem to be "too much". Haha, well at least not to me!

The one above is the first one you see as you come in my front door. I bought that at Michaels awhile back. The one below is in my dining room on top of my hutch. He was a flea market find!
The hutch even has a cherub lamp...
Here's another cherub lamp in my living room...

Another one in the living room. He was also found at a flea market. Sometimes you'll find him out on my patio...
I would love to find more of these (below)! I've been searching eBay but haven't found any yet. These came from thrift stores...
Here's an adorable little chubby cherub....oops, no..that's just Lauren! She does look very cherubesque in that photo though!Walking up the stairs you'll find my mirrored staircase wall where I've added a few more cherubs...

This little painting below was a wonderful gift from Fabulous Fifi! Even though I have quite a few already, I'm always on the lookout for more at flea markets, garage sales and thrift stores!

I love cherubs too:) I always used to pass them up if they weren't already white or beige, but you've taught me through your blog of endless great ideas that all I needed to do was paint them! My backyard is full of concrete angel statuaries in the summer. We once found a large version of your sitting patio angel and had to put him in the backseat with a seatbelt on to transport him home:)

Have a great day!

It is hard to pick which one I like best, but I probably would say the living room one. This is such a nice post, thanks for sharing.

These are all very beautiful. I especially like the one on the staircase - holding the urn with roses. I have some cherubs in my home, but you've inspired me to add more. God bless.

I love cherubs too. I have several around my home and many more that have been "adopted" out to my mom. Yours are lovely, I have a couple the same. Maybe you should have a post of everyone sharing their cherubs.

Angels are one of my passions and I have a similar angel like the one you bought at Michaels, which also comes from there although it is still in it's original patina and has two angels....you sure change things a lot and make them your own, I luv that about you. I would say I adore the very first one with the crystal bowl and jewels. The Dreamciles are a favorite of mine and just found another one at Goodwill last week holding unto a star but I think I should mention that I was very lucky for I found a lovely crystal button and daisy apothecary jar right after I read your post where you mentioned about them. This one I recently found, by far is the loveliest of all the ones I own. You brought me good luck. It was $30 and got it for 50% off, it was sale day as well. So thanks Cindy. Now I have to paint my gold flying angel in my bedroom.

Hugs Annabelle

They are all so cute. In my old apartment I had twin cherub shelves on either side of the bed. I haven't put them up since I moved.

I need to find the perfect spot for them

First, thanks for your lovely comment! I appreciated it a lot.
Then... WOW WOW WOW! Loooove all these cherubs! I have a thing for them, too, especially when they are painted white... but it is quite simple to amend if not ;))!
I'm hosting a giveaway... not blue and white, I'm sorry, but you could have a look anyway!

I love them too. In fact, we have a few of the same ones. They don't seem to look as good in my home as they do your's though. :o(

With your influence, maybe I can work on that.

I love all of them...I also collect cherubs and angels but the faces are very important...they have to look sweet!

I also love cherubs and have often admired yours peaking out in your photos.

I've been looking for a cherub lamp for some time now. I recently saw one on clearance at Lowes. It was gold and I came home to decide where I would put it, if I would paint it white or leave it gold, and if it was clearanced enough to still be in my budget. When I went back, it was gone. One of those things you can't stop thinking, why didn't I just get it!?

I personally don't understand how you can have too much of something you love! Of course, I don't understand "minimalist" decorating, either!

Oh Cindy, I love them too, I have them all over in my home. It's hard to pass one up, especially if you find a good deal. I have a very tall one that I got from a yard sale, and it cost me only three dollars.

Cindy, I love your cherubs! So sweet! Your lilacs are gorgeous. I can't wait for mine to bloom. My daffodills and tulips are just now coming up. Can't wait. Have fun at the antiques fair. Right there with you on those puffy eyes! That's the downside to Spring.

Have a wonderful day,
