Busy busy busy...so much Christmas decorating...

Pin It Now!

I decorated my huge birdcage for Christmas. I didn't want to overdo it because I want the Christmas tree to be the focal point not the cage. I just added some greenery to the top, tied it off with a big satin ribbon and added little grapevine wreaths on each door. I got these wreaths at Michaels for 29 cents each! I think they would make cute napkin rings too.

My birdcage even has a crystal chandelier hanging inside thanks to Linda~Blue Gate Blog... I won this fork chandelier in a giveaway she had on her blog! I love it!!!

I added some "snow" and a Christmas tree to this little glass house...

Look what I found on the Victoria website... the next issue, which is due out later this month, is all about white!!! I can hardly wait! Which reminds me...I need to renew my subscription...it's hard to believe it's already been a year since this wonderful magazine came back!
And how sweet is this...Ann~Life at Ann's Place told me I was the queen of blogging and she made me a virtual tiara (below). I'm in good company because I'm sharing the throne with Nikki~Blah, Blah, Blah Blog because Ann also gave one to her! Thank you Ann! And...there is a new online magazine coming out soon. It's called Romantic Living, you can find out more about it here.
Romantic Living Magazine

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! My baby turns 16 on Sunday...how is that possible!

Hi Cindy. I love how you decorated your bird cage! I've put a Christmas tree inside mine and am in search of the perfect lighting so it can be seen well at night. I love the wreaths you put on the doors, and that little chandelier is priceless!

I hadn't seen next month's cover to Victoria yet. All white? I can't wait to get my copy in the mail. Victoria is one of my favorite magazines, too!

Have a great weekend!

Leave it to you to have a bird house as lovely as your home Chandelier and all. Very pretty Cindy.
Everytime I find old Victoria magazines at yard sales I buy them.
They are timeless in their style and one of my favorite magazines too.
Hope you will come by the Shabby Old House. I have been working on a blue room. But when I think of beautiful blue rooms I always think of you.

Hi Cindy...I have to agree...you are definitely the queen of blogging...your blog and home are amazing and so inspiring and calming to visit. If I had a crown widget (which I don't...sorry...I've only just recently learned what a widget is!)...I would give you one too. You deserve it. Thanks for all your hard work, and for sharing your knowledge and experience. I am definitely a fan!
Warmly,
Tracey
P.S. I'm a huge Victoria magazine fan too...I was so excited to see it back in print.

You did a wonderful job, Cindy. Both the bird cage and your festive decorating is worthy of a magazine spread. Just a few days ago, I went over to another neighbor's house and "bookmarked" your blog on her computer for her to take a look at. She isn't currently a blog reader, but we'll see...
