Gifts & Tagged!

Pin It Now!

I received a beautiful gift in the mail this week! Ginger~Enchanting Cottage sent me these gorgeous toile canvas grocery bags...6 of them! (you can click on the photo to enlarge) I love them! They are something I would have bought if I saw them. I couldn't wait to use them so I've been bringing my lunch to work in one of them this week!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I was tagged by Carolyn~Wings of Eagles last Sunday to list 5 things I love. Thank you Carolyn! This is an easy one!
1. My family
2. Being enthusiastic ~ I feel very fortunate that little things make me happy!
3. Rain! We don't get rain here in the summer and I really miss it!
4. Decorating! Why I didn't choose this as a career ~ I just don't know!
5. Thrifting, flea marketing and finding treasures
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sandy ~ Lu Lu's Fluffy Ruffles gave me the awards below! Thank you Sandy!

I hope you all have a great weekend! I plan on starting the chair I bought at the flea market months ago!

Congrats on the cute tote bags. THAT would be a great treat. I love your list you wrote.

You won't believe this, but this week I was thinking of that chair you bought and wondered WHEN we would see more news about it. Thanks for answering that question. I'll be waiting to see your results. I know it will be beautiful!!!!

Cindy, I missed that chair when you posted about it...gorgeous!! I would have snapped that up in a minute. I would love to have one like that for my French vanity. I saw one at a yardsale last year almost just like yours for $45 & it had blue/white toile. I kicked myself for not getting it, but your deal was much better!

Cindy, Just moved to Calif a few weeks ago from NY and was looking to decorate and somehow found you. God knew I was lonely and needed a friend. My Romantic Home is my 1st blog. I just enjoying reading what you and friends have to share. Thanks, Lonely in Ventura.

Cute fabric bag! They look like the kind that European people use when they go to the market.

I also love plates. I collect them and hang them all over the place in my home. The chipped ones get put into my mosaics! I recognized several of the ones you posted pix of. I'm definitely a china girl!

How nice to have someone do that for you. I have material, I need to make a tote out of. And since I have my sewing machine sitting out. I think I'll make that a project.

That bad is GORGEOUS!!!
I recently started making my own bags (and selling them in my etsy shop).
That fabric is sooo pretty, I'm feeling a little envious! ;-)

How sweet! I love the toile bags! I need to get something like that because I am trying to be more "green" though I must say I used the plastic bags in one capacity or another about 3 times before tossing.
