The Winner is...

Pin It Now!

Jan~Feather Your Nest Antiques! Thanks to all 283 of you that entered! Even my sweet niece, Erin, entered the drawing. Erin: you didn't win but I'm going to make you one soon!!! For those of you that asked how I make these I will take pictures of the process when I make Erin's.

I'm so happy that there is a 4-day weekend coming up for me!!! I really feel like I need to slow down a bit. My whole weekend was busy, busy, busy and now it's Monday AGAIN!!! I'll also be taking a week off in Mid July just to stay home. It's nice to travel but sometimes I love just having a week off at home! I plan on getting a lot of projects done including wallpapering the bathroom~finally!

I can't believe it's the last day of June already! It doesn't feel like summer to me. We've had so much smoke from the wild fires burning in Northern California that the sun just doesn't shine through hardly at all. Every once in awhile the wind will shift and it will clear up but for the most part it looks like overcast skies. This morning I walked outside and saw white ash over everything. I'm so happy I didn't wash my car yesterday like I had planned to do!

Sorry there may be typos....Blogger's spell check seems to be broken again!!!!

I hope you enjoy your long weekend and your upcoming week off. I like takin time off just to get things done at home sometimes too.
The problem is I don't stay on top of all of my projects so I would need about a month instead of a week!

I simply am amazed at what you DO get done! You work and run a household. Keep a blog going. Decorate, decorate, decorate! Search for bargains. Is there anything you can't do! My kids are grown and now it's pets. I'm at home much of the time in my gardens when I'm not a Meals On Wheels volunteer. I have a very high energy level. But you, darlin, wear me out just thinking about it!

Hi Cindy! Can't wait for the instructions on the wreath; it will look great in my sewing room. Sorry you have the fires and ash to deal with. I go nuts when someone is burning brush Usually right after I have cleaned and aired out the house!lol I can't imagine having to deal with the wild fire effects for days on end. Well thankfully they are away from you. Enjoy your week - hopefully it goes by fast until the long weekend that is! Jeannette

That is just too ironic. I visited Jan on Saturday and she even mentioned how much she liked the wreath and she won!!!

Very cute! Congrats to the winner!
Sorry to hear about the fires there. Too bad we can't ship some of our flood water from Missouri up to you to put out those fires.

Oh what a lucky lady she is. I'm sure she will love having it as much as any of us would have.

I'm looking forward to the instructions. If it's as easy as the picture frame then I'll be making several of them.

Hugs,
Joanne

Congrats to Jan! I just found her blog yesterday!

Wow, I guess I won't complain any more about all the rain we've been getting. We don't have floods and we don't have drought and we don't have wildfires! I can't imagine what those are like.

What a pretty little button wreath and how nice it'll be going to someone sweet I'm sure. I'm sure you're looking forward to a little time off. I don't know how you complete so many projects and work and be a mom...whew! I'm tired just thinking about all of that! I'm sorry about all the fires in your neck of the woods. Our daughter used to live in Santa Barbara and she used to mention the Santa Anna winds. Have a restful evening, Cindy, and come see me sometimes. Shelia ;)

I can't wait to see how you make the button wreath.

I hope the fires don't last much longer. I know what that's like, living in SoCal.
