Teacups and my next project

Pin It Now!

I found these teacups on eBay last week. I thought they would be perfect to hang in my new hutch. There were only 6 of them so I hung three on each side.

I also draped a lace napkin in the center. I just loved the layered look it gives to my hutch

Below is my project for this weekend. It's a dresser I bought off of Craigslist for Lauren's room. It won't be painted white...she insisted that it not look like all my furniture. I'll be painting it cream...for some reason she seemed okay with that. I love the bowed drawers on this piece. Another weekend painting furniture...the end must be near!

Ah yes, teenagers......you know, she loves what you do and how every thing looks. I bet she is so proud of you. But you know, they have to assert their independence......even if it's just by a shade :-) Rosie

I stumbled upon your blog and have not been able to stop reading it.

I just love the way you have done your house. So much so, that I have decided to redo my room in the same style of yours.

I know it won't be as pretty as yours but I hope to come close.

You sure do find wonderful items at thrift stores and flea markets. I wish I had your luck.

Love the way you do what you do, I'm a prim decorator but I do use your ideas in my prim way. Just now I got up from my puter and put a barnred ticking napkin in my hutch and it look so prim with my Bennington pottery. So you see you help even us prim people with your ideas!! I have you listed in my favorites because I just love what you do.

Hi Cindy :)

The hutch looks gorgeous! I think it's cute that she's okay with cream, but not white ;)

I tried to rate your blog, but it's still not working. I would have given you the highest score. I'll try again later.

Have a beautiful weekend!

Hi Cindy, Yes my friend and I did go to Campbell. The shop was so cute. The owner was so nice. I did buy the sign holder but haven't taken a picture of it yet. I had a bit of a fall at lunch that day. I'm fine now. I'm adding a little something to the sign and will take a picture soon. I would love to add you to my favorits if it is OK with you. I would love you to add me to yours. I really look forward to reading your blog daily. I will let you know when I post the little sign.
