French Lace Roses

Pin It Now!

This is one of my favorite roses. It's called French Lace and is used often in bridal bouquets.  The buds start out a blush pink and turn to a creamy white once the flower is fully bloomed. This rose bush was so full with blooms that it was leaning over with the weight of them so I had to pick this huge bouquet.
I placed them my coffee table and sat down on the sofa and realized it was a view I had to share with you!

Cindy,
Your roses are just unbelievable...
That French Lace is so wonderful. I gave up on roses years ago due to black spot... but yours make me want to try again..... I am going to look for this one.

Your blooms are exquisite. Our rose bushes are covered in buds, but none have opened yet. I did notice one when I got home last night that was starting to show the color in the bud. Maybe this weekend.

Hi Cindy,
Beautiful! The roses... oh how I long for some roses in the garden! You are so blessed, it must be lovely to cut flowers this time of year.
The room was just as wonderful as the flowers, you are a darn good photographer!

Absolutely beautiful - the roses and the room. I love roses of any color, but especially the pastels.

Cindy, I love how even the wine matches the photo. A glass of Cabernet would have been so jarringly out of place;-)

Cindy, I have two of these rose bushes and have had them for about 8 years. They are my favorite as well, but this year for some reason a red rose came up mixed in with the french lace. I have never had a red rose so I have no idea how this happen.Thank-you again for such a beautiful blog. Tomarrow I am going to post a picture of my french lace roses. I took the picture today so I smiled when I saw your post.
Have a great day,

Hi Cindy,
I don't know how you find the time to post working a full-time job. I started back to work this week and my time is no longer my own. So kudos to you for posting as much as you do. Your roses are beautiful.

Hugs,
LeAnn :)

Cindy,

This has been a tough day at work, that is until I checked your blog post.

That picture is calming, soothing and very warm & inviting! What a treat it was to feel all the stress and tension evaporate.

Those roses are simply exquisite, as is the entire picture.

How heavenly. Can I come share a glass of wine and some girl talk with. (I'll bring the wine and I promise not to put my feet on your coffee table.)

Hi Cindy! Those roses are so PERFECT I thought they were silk!! My what a pretty picture with the candles and glass of wine. All you need is a good old black & white Cary Grant movie on the TV and a big bowl of popcorn and you have what I'd call a perfect evening! xoxo ~ Joy J.

Ooooo, I'm writing the name of that one down. We're in the process of redoing our landscaping and I'm planting lots of roses. We're going to get more this weekend.

I love the pictures!

I forgot to ask. Since, that's a shrug rose, how big are the blooms? They look large in the photo.

Now those are just so beautiful. I hope my new rose bush produces a lot. I bought one at Home Depot the other day and although I am a novice to roses, I am willing to give it my best.
I think your home is always picture ready. Mine always seems to have a mess in one place or the other.
Thanks for sharing.
