More Vintage Lace Pillowcases!

Pin It Now!

I'm obsessed with vintage lace pillowcases lately! This is the latest pair I bought on eBay. I know they look really similar to the pair I just showed you a couple weeks ago but they're a little different. The inset is an ecru colored lace. I have had such great experiences with eBay sellers and this was no exception. These came from an eBay seller called ragpicker50. She even included an extra white hankie and a lavender sachet. Oh did it smell good when I opened the box! Below is a pair that I'm very sad to say that I didn't win on eBay! Oh, I really wanted them and I actually had to stop myself from increasing my bid. It took a lot of self-control for me to stop myself. They ended selling for $45 which is still not bad for all that beautiful drippy lace but it's out of my budget! Some lucky woman is probably waiting for the mailman to drop these off any day...I'm so envious!

Cindy the blue & ecru pillowcases are so beautiful and will look so lovely in your bedroom:>) I love vintage pillowcases. You can't beat the softness or the decoration of them and they are a really affordable way to add some beauty to the bed.

So beautiful! I love old linens and those are just gorgeous. The ones that got away are wonderful but way out of my bidding range.

I finally got "the" magazine and really enjoyed reading the article about you and your home. It was just like visiting with a friend! Congratulations on being published.

Your pillowcases are exquisite, and I know that you treasure them.

I have a soft spot for vintage linens, too. The pillowcases take on such a softness that I love.

"I know they look like the others, but they are a little different..." That made me laugh! I'm always saying that to my husband when he asks me: Don't you have that all ready? Anyway, who cares??!? A collection means more than one!! The pillow cases are beautiful! Cheryl in California

Oh, I know what you mean! I'm just nuts about old hanies, linens, lace, etc. I got an old wedding dress this morning at the Salvation Army. The lace is amazing. So amazing that I don't think I can take it apart. My mannequin will have to be a bride =) Blessings... Polly

Cindy - I keep waiting for you to blog that some home decorating magazine has offered you an amazing job. Ilove your pillow cases and the moment I have some time to sew again, I am going to use some of my Grandmothers lace to make some for me!

Hi Cindy,
I just came across your blog. How lovely the linens are. I love cutwork with the tiny blue satin stitch and have a set of napkins, placemats and runners. Well, I'm off to look at your cottage (aka rental) in the magazine. What a truly great blog. I'm just starting with mine. Please stop by sometime.
Regards, Theresa

Love vintage linens! I've done hand embroidery and quilting myself. Sewn tiny beads on. So I know how much work goes into such beautiful linens.

Nothing makes me feel more feminine that to flip back my spread and uncover lacy pillowcases or to strip to my lacy underwear. Both are my secret weakness - ahhhhhh.

Hi Cindy. I love these pillowcases! Actually, I love anything with cutwork - linen, china, etc. Just stunning.

And congratulations on being featured in the Snooty Woman's Club "Blogs of Fame." I joined that club a few weeks ago. How nice our paths will meet there as well as here!
