A new kitchen faucet

Pin It Now!

Remember when I painted my kitchen and I said I wish I could put in a new faucet(click here)? Well, since I'm just renting this place I really didn't want to spend over $100 for a nice faucet but shortly after I painted my kitchen I received a $50 gift certificate from my company and it was from GiftCertificates.com. I chose to take an Overstock.com certificate and I found this faucet for only $59.99! It's solid brass construction and after I read the reviews on overstock I knew I had to have it! It only cost me $13 out of my pocket after I applied the gift certificate and it was money well spent because it makes a huge difference over the cheap apartment faucet I had before! Not only does it look better but it's so practical to have a high faucet to wash big items like the huge glass jar just to the right of the sink.

I have to say that everything I've bought at Overstock.com has been of the best quality! No, they aren't paying me to say that I just like to pass along good vendors when I find them!

Cindy, what a beautiful faucet. It is meant for you. You must be so happy whenever you use it. Overstock.com is great. I love it a lot. Any chance you can take a picture of your faucet with the water running? Is it gentle or is the pressure high? I guess you can regulate it huh? I love gentle :)

Oh yes the right move to get a new tap set. That one is lovely indeed! Our kitchen is new but was done in a modern style by the previous owner, would love to change it, maybe just the fittings now I have seen yours!

I too love Overstock for many things and you can snag some darn good bargains there if you keep checking.

A fantastic find! You home is beautiful! My home is more primitive, so I love to visit places that are lacy and romantic. You have wonderful ideas. It's great to see examples of decorating done on a real budget that look like a million bucks! Thanks for sharing.

Here in Australia, we aren't allowed to do *anything* to rental properties. Unless it is a private rental between people you know, you can get into so much trouble even for painting, so basically it stays as it was when you moved in. It amazes me that you can change a faucet! Does it come off your rent?

Oh, and I think I'm de-lurking. Hi!

Your home is absolutely beautiful. I think your landlord should pay you for the faucet . . . afterall, look at all the work you are doing to her house, your home. Gee I hope if I ever rent out a home, someone like you rents it.

Blessings,

Sher

I'd show her the faucet. Maybe she'll reimburse you. It does make a big difference.

I am so happy for you Cindy...I know how much you hated that old faucet. Honestly, you have made an incredibly pretty home out of a "rental" and it is a true testament to your talent!!

I love the chalkboard, too!!
