I love birdhouses and my dad has made a few for me that I cherish. I found these gorgeous birdhouses at The Backyard Bird Company (click here).
Their prices range from $31 to over $2,000!

Over $2,000 for a birdhouse? Wow, now that's a SERIOUS bird lover! They are all beautiful but the one with the red roof really caught my eye. Too cute.
P.S. I think you have an early case of "spring fever," Cindy! :D
I agree with Shari... you have a very serious case of spring fever... in January! You are so refreshing with this spring thing that I could "almost" forget the wind chill tonight will be NEGATIVE 16 degrees... time for cocoa and long woolies! I am ready for the first robin myself.
I know...I really do have Spring Fever. It's been rainy and cold and the forecast is the same for as far out as they can go. I want the sun and warm weather!
HOw lovely these are--I think I want to live in them! Hee-hee
The bird houses are beautiful and I can't wait for spring either! My favorite time of year!
Ps- you've been tagged! If you have some free time later, stop by my blog for the details. Have a great day!

What gorgeous birdhouses you have featured today. They look wonderful but OMG $2000 for a birdhouse, not this little chickadee. I don't think I could justify spending that sort of money on a birdhouse no matter how beautiful it look.

Those birdhouses are stunning :)
Love all of them! They have some nice unfinished ones at Michael's -- quite a bit less than $2000.!

I love birdhouses Cindy.
Thanks for sharing!!
Every year I seem to buy a few more.

How inspiring. Thanks for sharing.
I simply adore birdhouses:-). I love finding old ones in need of a little TLC and fixing them up. I wish our weather would either stay cold or go ahead and warm up *UGH* This back & forth thing is really giving me sinus problems.
Have a wonderful day!!
$2,00 for a birdhouse...crikey, that'd be the foggy Friday!!
I'd be building my own for sure. As a matter of fact...think I will do just that this year for the garden. How hard could it be? Yep...gonna build me a birdie house...al ..la..la...
Fabulous houses. I would love to have a few though they would upstage my home! They are so intricate. I don't think I would pay $2,000 for a birdhouse unless it doubles as a guest house.
Thanks for sharing. You have a wonderful blog!

Hi Cindy. Lovely photos. I've always wondered if birds ever nest in such fancy ones. I have a white one that looks like a church with pillars and a steeple. A little chickadee did make it's nest in there once. Hope you had a good day. Rhondi
wow...those are amazing! Aren't you so lucky to have a dad who will build one for you!
Gorgeous birdhouses. My dad was always going to make birdhouses and my dear little mother was going to decorate them. They would have been beautiful, I'm sure, but it never happened. You have such a treasure with the ones your father made for you. Thanks for sharing the inspiration of the birdhouses. I'd love to own every one of them - but I wouldn't pay the price! ~Adrienne~
Great bidhouses! Thay are nicer than my own house!~

OOOOOOO I LOVE birdhouses! I love birds! I miss not having a bunch of them in our yard! We bought a house in a new subdivision and we don't have any trees yet! I miss the squirrels too! They are SO FUNNY! I get a kick of all their antics.
Uh Oh Cindy, I'm feeling the need for one of these lovelies. I do have a really pretty white one, but I keep it in the house.
I'm going to look at this website right now! I'm a birdhouse collector. Yikes I'm in for some trouble.
Have a great day,
Cath
Oh my what amazing bird houses! Very lucky little birdies that live in one of those..... I look forward to seeing more wildlife as the weather gets warmer..... I am inspired now to find unique bird houses! ha,ha

I love to go bird watching on the Cape at a sancturary in Chatham.I would love to have doves for a pet ..I love that sound too ..the first time I heard them was on a trip to coast of NC ..like heaven.I don't think they would survive NE winters!

These are indeed pretty, but there is a flaw - most, if not all of these, are made in China. Wouldn't you rather buy American birdhouses?
