It's All About Christmas Decorating Now!

Pin It Now!

I started decorating for Christmas! I've draped the banister with faux pine and added some clear lights, green and white poinsettias, red berries and green velvet trimmed ribbon.
I use the same pine garland every year but try to change what I add to it. I think this year's is my favorite yet.
The flowers, berries and ribbon were all on sale at Michaels, 50% off!

We'll be getting our Christmas tree this weekend! I love decorating the tree!

What a beautiful stairway... Missed you over the Holiday weekend. I am having sorority tonight at Mom's, and we did Thanksgiving late, so I'm decorating a bit late... what else is new... Anyway, have a fun time with the decorations. I love the white pointsettias on the handrail... yum-0!

Oh, so pretty! I can see you are off to an ambitious start. Wish I could say the same about me. :( After months of having my house torn up from all this redecorating, I'm dreading moving stuff around again to accommodate Christmas decorations. I really need to get with the program!

Somewhat hesitantly, I posted a few of my "spaces" on Rate My Space. People are being much kinder than I expected. LOL. The "after" photo of the wall unit is getting rave reviews, especially the pink backs! Thank you again so much!!!!

So very pretty. Can't wait to see the tree. The sale at Michael's.... I hit the store twice this weekend :>) I took a couple days off work to decorate. Really got into the spirit while having the TV on HGTV. My husband says I need to stop watching all the Christmas decorating shows now.

The white with the green ribbon is very pretty!

I bought some beautiful red velvet poinsettias at Big Lots for $5, and some gold ribbon that I am going to use on my banister.

Since I don't have a live tree, I'm going to get fresh cuttings from Home Depot to decorate my banister. Last year, the guys that trim the trees, let me have all the cuttings I wanted. They were beautiful!

This is the only thing I miss about having a one-story home is not being able to decorate the bannister of the stairway. :-( But then, I'm planning to have two trees this year, so that's kind of cool.
