I have a bad case of the "I WANTS"

Pin It Now!

When I was little and I would ask my parents for new things (toys, clothes, etc.) my mom would tell me that I have a bad case of the "I wants". I guess I still have it! Here are some of the things I'm dreaming about....

These goblets from Macy's Martha Stewart Collection. Aren't those beautiful! This beautiful Reed & Barton flatware available on Amazon.com! Service for 12 on sale for only $120.00 (Retail $249.00) what a deal! Do I NEED it? No, not really... but I WANT it! Got to love Amazon.com! We get special recognition awards at work and I always take the Amazon Gift Certificates. I'm saving them for these! The gift cert. are for $5 each...it's gonna take awhile!

A large cupcake cake pan from Sur la table. How fun would it be to take this cake to a party! Think of all the cute ways you could decorate it! I'm thinking of pink frosting with sprinkles! I have to have it!

These chocolate dipped strawberries are Christmas ornaments from Sur la table! I buy my kids an ornament for Christmas every year so I'm going to get one of these for my daughter because she loves chocolate dipped strawberries.

I posted about this wicker cart before. I would love to have this to take to the flea market! This one is from Victoria Trading Company.

Okay, if I want to buy some of these things I need to either:

a. win the lottery

b. marry a rich man

c. get rid of my monthly car payments

I choose "C".....YEAH I'm happy to report that I am making my last car payment next week!!!! Whooohooo more money to help my bad case of "I Wants".

( I put links on all the products above in case you have the same "I wants" that I have, just click the highlighted text)

Be sure to look in the comments of my post yesterday "What's on
your coffee table?" to see other bloggers that are joining in. I found
some good ideas from them. It's not too late to join in just leave a
comment on that post.

Yes, that giant cupcake caught my eye too! I'm wondering if I could make it in two pieces, using my tube pan for the bottom half, and a metal mixing bowl (turned upside down) for the curved top part. Has anyone ever tried this?

I seen that Giant cupcake when I got an e-mail yesterday from Sur La Table. I also thought it looked like so much fun, but I didn't check out the price. Fun things!

Oh, boy, every one of these things are lovely. I especially love the goblets.
When I was little, my mom said my middle name was WANT....and, like you, I guess it still is!

Thanks a lot Cindy! Now I have a bad case of the "I wants" too. After reading this post, I want things I didn't even know I wanted! You sure have great taste. Everything on your list is beautiful and certainly worth drooling over. You mentioned a couple websites I've never visited before. Hmmm...think I just might have to go virtual window-shopping. :D

That flatware is gorgeous, but of course I'm difficult because I want to know what the dish is under it! ARGH! I want! :-)

My cousin Denise and I were shopping one time and she found this gorgeous picture for her dining room. It was HUGE but she fell in love with it instantly. She looked at it lovingly for a while and then decided it was no longer a "want" but a full fledged "need." As long as you can decipher the two...you're good!

Congrats on the last car payment! I noticed you didn't sign up for my giveaway. I thought for sure it had your name written all over it!! There's still a chance to get one if you want to check it out.

Love,
Julie

I have a bad case of the "I wants" right now too, maybe it's that time of the year, or maybe it's my menopause? Regarding the Reed and Barton flatware, they have it on QVC.com, might be cheaper or sometimes they have easy pay where you can take several months to pay for it but still have it at home to use. Worth a try. Love reading you everyday, hope your hand is better. How are you coming on your table?

Such a great list! I love your taste. The silverware has to be my favorite, followed by the goblets. It is fun to have the "I wants" occassionally. Maybe you can turn it into your Christmas list!

Having the "I wants" isn't such a bad thing!! My sister and I used to take the Sears catalogue when we were kids and circle all the things we "wanted". We certainly didn't get them all (very few actually!) but it was fun to dream!! I still dream!!

Geez thanks Cindy, now I'm suffering from a case of "I wants" too after seeing this post! Shall we cry on each others shoulders perhaps? lol I'm especially in love with the cupcake cake tin and strawberry holder. Oh Santa..........I've been good. Really truly I have....

Cindy you really have a superb sense of style! I saw this ornament tree with these strawberries. They look so real. I like them so much.
These days I am so regret that I didn't stay in America, since here at home I can't find such beautiful things. You are so lucky and I know that you will get yourself some "want" stuff, especially because you deserve it.

Who wouldn't want to have all these things?!?! I would also want to win the lottery, cause I'm already married (not to a welthy man though LOL) and I don't have a car to pay for. so, it must be the lottery!!!
What a lovely coffeetable you showd on the earlier pages. Just love that style.
Hope you're having a great Thursday.

Oh, I have a really bad case of the "I wants". It seems to be more severe as I get older. Notice, I said older not old.
Christmas time is the worst time for my illness, as the selection is better than any other time of the year. "One for them, one for me".
My car's paid off! He he.

Oh Cindy,

I have the same thing too! What's worse is these past few weeks I also have a bad case of "I bought".
lol! I guess it's hard not to this time of year. Love that cupcake pan, and the strawberry ornaments. I will have to have those. Congrats on no more car payments, and hello extra cash! Thanks to
Shari I learned how to have my name show up now. What a sweet person she is! So nice to have met her here on your wonderful blog! Glad you are feeling better!

Oh, I need to get one of those strawberry dipped in chocolate for my daughter to, she loves the real thing. On sweetest day she was down here visiting us and John brought home a box of 4 strawberries in chocolate from Godiva's for her. Unfortunately, her and I had both forgotten it was even Sweetests Day. Bad girls, but we loved the treats any way.
Congrats on making your last car payment and I hope your I Want list turns into your wish list and that all your wishes come true.
