Here is a very quick & easy dessert. The hardest part of this is finding the Stella D'oro Anginetti cookies. I went to four different stores looking for them. I finally found them but they were on sale and they only had 1 bag left. These are always a hit every time I make them so I usually double the recipe. Everyone is always impressed that I made them...they don't have any clue that they are just filled store bought cookies! This recipe can easily be doubled 1 pkg. (5 oz.) STELLA D'ORO ANGINETTI Cookies
4 oz. (1/2 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1-1/2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
1 can (8 oz.) crushed pineapple, well drained
CUT cookies in half horizontally; set aside.
CUT cookies in half horizontally; set aside.
BEAT cream cheese in small bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until creamy. Add whipped topping; beat 1 minute or just until blended. Gently stir in pineapple.
SPOON 1 Tbsp. of the pineapple mixture onto bottom half of each cookie; cover with top half of cookie. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Store leftover cream puffs in refrigerator.
I still haven't received my Victoria Magazine!

Cindy, that recipe's a keeper. Looks delish and it's easy too. Thanks! A couple of people have mentioned that they haven't gotten their Victoria Mag yet. I haven't seen it in any bookstore either.

P.S. Yes, it was a bunch of men that said that! So you think I should use a paste wax instead of a few coats of poly?
I make this recipe too. You are correct, everyone loves it and it is sooooo easy. My kinda recipe : )
Blessings!
Wish I liked to cook - these look delicious.
I have two cherub wall planters very similar to your cherub in the previous post. Mine are a mottled green, and I love them. Got them for $6 each, but spent a fortune on the floral arrangements!

Cindy, they look and sound devine! I love something like this. It looks like you slaved over it and it was really simple. Simple, yet elegant.

Sounds good and elegant! I commented on the bean and sausage soup - made it a couple days ago. Leftovers were even better yesterday!

This recipe is so good and it has been my secret weapon. I arrange them on a silver tray for added effect. My friend asked me to make them for a party which was also being catered. The caterer provided cream puffs. Need I say more, at the end of the party, cream puffs remained - but this amazing simple dessert was gone, gone, gone! Everyone commented upon how good they were.
Goodness girl...how do you stay so beautifully thin with food like this in your kitchen???
I hope I can find those cookie's...look's and sounds scrumptious..and how simple!!!
Thank's for sharing!
