Here's the little cherub I bought at the flea market last weekend. When I bought him he had a floral frog glued inside so at one time he was used to hold flowers. It was my daughter's idea to make him hold a candle.
I took this picture Tuesday evening and the wind was blowing so hard I thought for sure the power was going to go out but it didn't. I lit a million candles just in case!

(In the photo it looks like the flame is right up against the wood cabinet but it's actually not, there's about 6 inches between.)

Hi, I've been reading your page since I found it on HGTV/RMS. I absolutely love what you've done to "your" house. I believe that all furniture looks better with a coat or 2 of white paint. I can't wait to see how the new table turns out!
Hi, everything you do is beautiful. I love your decorations. I visit your page often and has learned somethings from you; for example, how to paint. The instructions you left on how to paint helped me a lot. I now have a new room decorated with things I thrifted, just by reading you.
Thank you so much....
Also, I love your pink cupcakes. Today is my birthday and last night I tried to bake some cupcakes to look like yours. They turned out good, by the frosting was terribly ogly. Can you pass me your frosting recipe?
thanks you, Cindy for everything you share with the world. God bless you.

The cherub was so cute. Absolutely lovely to have him around. And I love the way you've decorated for Halloween. Those boots were awesome.
Hope you have a good day.
