My Mirrored Staircase

Pin It Now!

I've added a couple more mirrors to my staircase since the last time I showed you. Most of these mirrors were under $5 and were found at thrift stores, and garage sales. A lot of them had gold plastic frames that I've painted white. I always use different shades of white or antique them a little differently so they aren't so matchy. I still want to get more so I'll keep you updated. If you want to see a beautiful staircase of mirrors go check out this blog that I just found yesterday. The mirrored staircase is at the bottom of her post. That staircase is much more grand than mine! I love it!

I took these pictures last night which is why it's so dark!

Your mirrors look very nice! It certainly adds sparkle. I've been collecting mirrors too. Now I search for the plastic frame ones for the fence in the back of my yard. That area is very shady and the mirrors open it up.
Love you mirrors, toile and PAINTED furniture! I say break all the rules and go for it.
Best,
Kathy

I love your mirrors. I have noticed quite a few at my local thrift store. I may have to run back up there and snatch them up. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks for showing us your mirrors and the link. Awesome!

Cindy, if you have a moment, I am trying to figure out how to do a signature line. Look at my blog, at the latest entry. This is what happens when I try to do a signature. Any advice for me? I know you are busy.

Your mirrors are looking wonderful Cindy, I've started a stairway mirror collection myself but put some little plaster cherubs in between the mirrors. The picture from the magazine Alicia (Time Worn Style) has on her blog is gorgeous isn't it? Her own stairway should like great when she's finished it, hope she shares some photos
