New camera and coffee cup

Pin It Now!

I don't know why I didn't think of this sooner but I have a really good camera at work that I need to learn how to use (this will be great for my review at the end of the year). It used to belong to our Graphic Designer and he left the company and they didn't replace him. I've been trying to learn Photoshop because I may be asked to do some basic things with it for some of our photos we use in our presentations. I asked my boss if I could take the camera home for awhile and learn how to use it. YAY...the answer was YES! I've been playing around with the camera at my desk today and took a picture of my new coffee mug I just bought at Marshall. $3.99 can't beat that! The camera is a Canon Rebel XT...and I'm loving it! This may spoil me and I may not want a crappy camera after this!

I'm going to take some more pictures of my chandelier with this camera. I'll post them tomorrow.

Well Cindy, I don't even know where to begin with the CONGRATULATIONS: chandelier up (and beautiful), the dimmer switch replacement, the steal of a deal on the pretty mug, or the camera delimma solved! I will say I was veeeeeery impressed you rewired the chandelier AND replaced the dimmer switch by yourself. (Look out Martha Stewart! LOL) You are one truly amazing woman!

Beautiful coffee mug, Cindy.

That's the camera I'm considering. Hope to have a new one in the next couple of weeks.

What a great idea to learn to use the camera for work. And you might just end up liking it so much that you buy one for yourself. I have two friends with this same camera and they LOVE it! Their pictures always turn out well.

WOW...that is one good camera...I never realized it could make that much difference (my daughter the photographer would cringe if she heard me say that)....Great picture of your pretty new cup...can't wait to see the new chandi pics...I thought the other ones were pretty good...so I'll be really happy to see new clearer ones from the new camera...hey...if the boss lets you use this to learn about work...shouldn't you be getting paid to learn, too?? Just an idea...well...I wouldn't want to push it...now...don't listen to me...I'll probably just get you in trouble.

Enjoyed your new post...
