I'm bored!

Pin It Now!

Cindy's Photos, originally uploaded by Romantic Home.

I feel like I'm being held hostage today. I had to stay home from work because my landlord is having my downstairs ceiling painted. We had a plumbing problem in the upstairs bathroom a couple years ago and the water came down through the ceiling. I've been living with a stained ceiling for awhile. The last time my landlord was here she said she would have it repainted for me. Well today's the day. I'm stuck upstairs, bored to death. I'm hungry but I can't go down to get food because there is a huge plastic barrier between the upstairs and downstairs. Hopefully they will be done soon. It took them awhile to put plastic wrap around the walls, the floor and all my furniture and now they are painting.

While I'm stuck upstairs I was playing around with Flickr and put this mosaic together with all my photographs.

Hi Cindy,
Your pictures are a sight for sore eyes. So beautiful! Don't you hate it when there are workers in the house? I always feel as though I can't even sit down for a minute -- as if I must somehow show solidarity with them by doing every chore that I've ever shirked! Hope you're free soon -- thanks for the lovely eye candy!

Your photos are just gorgeous. You have such a flair and so much style.
I love the mosaic.

I will be in our shoes tomorrow. Had a leak in the washer hose that is under the floor...plumber had to cut 2 holes in basement family room ceiling. Dry wall men coming tomorrow to do the repair work and then I have to re-paint the wall and ceiling in those spots. *sigh*

I am echoing Mary's comment when I say that I hate having workers here too. I always feel like I have to DO something work related and just can not relax...especially with a doggie that will drive me silly until they leave!

Hope tomorrow is better for you!

Hugs,
Sue

Cindy,

your home needs to be photographed for a magazine. It's so beautiful!

I am still awed by the two thrifted china patterns that you snagged. I love the vintage hanky banner, also.
