I know most of you have probably seen this table in different photos I've had here on my blog but I recently took this photo so I thought I would show you a full view of it. I first saw a table like this in Romantic Homes Magazine in the early 90s. I fell in love with it. My dad started making them to sell at the flea market and he also made one for me for Christmas...I think around 1993. This table has moved with me to 5 or 6 different homes since then. I used to have a cat that loved to use those legs as scratching posts so I really need to sand this table down and repaint it...it's on the list of "to do" things.

OMG! That table is absolutely amazing! If you and your Dad published a pattern for it, I'd totally buy one!!! Too cute, as always, amazing stuff! I can't wait for moore! ~A :-)
Oh, it's beautiful!! I love it...and the colors you have used to decorate on and around are so pretty and cheerful. I love yellows, blues and whites together! You have a nice blog! I shall return! :o)

I've always wanted a table like that too, it's just too cute and I love the colors! I also love your new banner, just perfect for your lovely blog!
I have noticed it before but didn't know your dad made it. That makes it so much more special! I love it. And I love your new banner, too.
I love the table too and I can't see where the cat scratched it but just maybe it antiques it a little!
I am new to your blog but will visit again!
Do you think your dad would adopt me????? I think he's the best! He can make just about anything - especially birdhouse tables! I've seen a nightstand one I like and have always wanted something like it. You're a lucky girl!
What a beautiful table, even more so because your Dad made it. I wouldn't redo it, just more memories and stories to tell with the cat scratches. You have such a beautiful and inspiring blog.
What a darling table and how special that it was made by your dad. I love how you have displayed your plates. Just beautiful!!
Your table is just so pretty! I love it all chippy from the cat! lol Beautiful blue plates...I collect those myself! They look so pretty above your table.

I have loved that table since I saw it in a Better Homes and Garden gardening magazine....probably around the time you first saw it. I'm envious. Enjoy your week.
Oh I want one!!! How adorable and the way you decorated is just perfect.
I second the comment by cottage magpie, if you were to get together the pattern for the table I would definately be interested. I'm pretty sure I could talk my DH into making one for me. It's beautiful! Oh and where do you find all your plates? Love your blog. Debbie
Great blog!! I will be back for more!!

Blues, whites and yellows are a very favorite color combo for me! Your father is very talented, I love your birdhouse table and it looks beautiful in this location- your foyer?
The table is wonderful. It is particularly special since it came from a loved ones hands. Thanks for another lovely visit; I always feel inspired after I have been here.
Your table is just beautiful, and I'm so happy for you that you have so many treasures that your father made. I love the arrangement, too...did you make your frame? It's lovely...and I love your lamp!
Cindy, I missed this post! what a cute table. I love it & all the blue & yellows you have around it. It looks just like a magazine shot! Your dad is very good.
