I bought this table at a thrift store last week for $12.99. Last weekend I stripped it and painted it white. I still want to distress it a little so this is still a work in process. When I bought this table, I had no idea where I was going to put it but for that price I knew I HAD to buy it. I think it would great in an entry way but my entry way is too small so I'm using it a side table for now. Now I need to strip and paint my coffee table so they match better. Funny how one thing always leads to another!
Here are some flowers from my garden, the apricot colored ones are called Nancy Reagan and the blush/cream are called French Lace. This seems to be a great year for roses around here. Every rose bush in the neighborhood is covered with roses.

Such a neat table :) Looks so nice in white. I came away from goodwill today with a load of projects -fun :)
Oh, your roses are wonderful! I'm thinking about adding a couple bushes to keep my one lonely peachy-red rosebush company.
Beautiful lines on that table, which show off so much better in white! Lovely!
Your table looks amazing !!!! Oh and those roses are my favorite colors. I can almost smell them from here. I have wriiten the names of them down and will be searching the nurseries for the Nancy Reagan and French Lace roses. Also I read your last post and fell in love with your glass dispenser from Marshalls. We don't have a Marshalls here in Canada..........sooooo sad.
Simply gorgeous!Love the table and especially the roses.
Your table looks great. One thing always leads to another in my case too. What is your process for painting your furniture? Ie, color, brand of paint, distressing technique. Please share.
I love your table too! When I buy a piece of furniture to be painted I just sand it and then paint. You are stripping your furniture~ how are you doing it, is it better to do that? Please let us know~ Thanks, Tina
Looks wonderful -- such graceful lines -- delicate and beautiful -- just like the amazing roses! Great job!
Jan at Rosemary Cottage -- where I spent the morning deadheading the roses! :)
Really great simple, curved lines on your new table. It looks so fresh and yet vintage, perfect for your home. Nice job you did with it. Donna
Cindy, your table looks wonderful, the curved lines show up so much better in white! You did a great job! The roses are just beautiful also.

You are right, you did HAVE to buy that table--it is great & looks beautiful in white.
I'm so jealous of the roses that I'm seeing on the blogs of people from CA. Here in VA, we have roses in the early spring & fall, but its too hot in the summer :(
