Christie Repasy

Pin It Now!

I have wanted a Christie Repasy painting for years. There is no way I can afford an original of hers but I just bought this canvas print. It was hard to pick just one of hers, I love them all! Since I collect chintz dishes I thought this one is perfect for me. It's going in my bedroom, probably unframed for awhile until I can afford a frame worthy of this piece of beauty. If I win the Mega Millions $370 million dollar jackpot tonight, I'll be buying some of her originals. If you haven't seen her work, you can find it here

Yes, this is my second post today but I was so excited I just had to post this. It was a spur of moment impulse buy. Internet shopping is so dangerous for me!

What a pretty picture! I love how you changed the cherub. I have a lot of dated things that I`d like to fix up some day. Hope you don`t mind if I use that idea!

I can see why you love the painting so much. It's lovely. As soon as I am done here I am going to check out the link so that I can drool over more paintings. I saw your comment on my blog about the
garden statue. There is a story that goes with that cherub. Ten years ago my friend lost her daughter Krista when she was hit by a passenger train at the age of eleven years. I bought two cherub statues....one for me and one for my friend. We both call them our Krista angels.

I love that painting and it is perfect for you. Thanks for the link to her site.
I think you have worked wonders with a can of spray paint - good on you!

What a perfectly lovely picture.
I am so glad you have this one...and when you win those millions, you can have an original!
I also love what you have doing with all that white paint! I am inspired to get a can of light blue and do a cabinet and desk in our bedroom.
Enjoy your special find.

What a gorgeous choice of prints. Her work reminds me of Cathrine Risi's.

Guess you didn't win the Mega Lottery last night? Me either. Think of the treasures we could have bought with our winnings....Oh well, I had $5 worth of fun fantasizing what I would do with the money!
