There was a big box on my doorstep when I arrived home from work last Friday night. It was from my online friend Lorrie. She sent me a huge box full of vintage linens, a wonderful belated birthday gift! When I opened the box I felt a bit like an addict...is it possible to get "high" on linens? I really think I did and it was a great feeling! Lorrie has the same addiction as me but she seems to be getting better because she went through her own linen stash, which must be HUGE and sorted out these to give to me! How nice was that!!!
I had to look at each piece before I even thought about cooking dinner! I also had to call my mom as I was going through them because she's a linen addict also...it really does seem to run in families!There are some beautiful things in that stack. I'll have to share closeups of some of them later.
