Happy New Year!!!
I hope you are all getting the new year off to a great start! I went to a New Years party last night which is something I haven't done in years...in fact I don't even remember the last time I went out on New Years! It was a lot fun!
I've put away my Christmas decor and all I can say...it's so much more fun to put up than it is to take down! It's done and my little apartment looks so bare now.
I still wanted something festive around the house and for New Years I always love to decorate with silver and crystal! I love the sparkle of the two together!
The camellias are blooming in Northern California right now. These are from my apartment complex. The bush is right in front of my neighbor's kitchen...I felt like a thief sneaking up with my scissors and snipping them before they could see me! I'm sure they don't care, there are just two young single guys that live there. They are probably totally unaware that it is even blooming!
I found these beautiful candles half off right after Christmas at the most unlikely place...CVS!! Who would think you could find something so beautiful at a chain drug store? I bought 2 large and two small and I wish I would have bought more now. I think I'll go see if they have any left. I think the large one was only $3.50!
I think since they are snowflakes they can go beyond Christmas and would look okay all winter. They are oh-so-romantic looking!
I bet some of you are going to be running out to CVS today to look for them, aren't you?
One of my New Years resolutions is to blog more often. I'm starting off the new year right! It's not even Show and Tell Friday time and I'm posting!
Have a happy and safe 2013! I think it's going to be a great year!!!
Happy New Year Cindy! Your candles look great!
