None of us will ever forget, Cindy. But we are a strong nation and have rallied forward. May the Lord bless all those who died that fateful day. Susan

We need to make sure that those memories are kept alive. We also need to make sure that our children and grandchildren understand the sacrifices that were made on that day and continue to be made.

Hello Cindy, I live in Canada and watched the horrible events on TV. I pray for the families of the poor unfortunate victims and may God bless all of us. I remember my Grandmother telling me of the night bombing raids in London. Night after night constant bombing. The Germans were hoping to break the spirit of the British people, but it worked in reverse. The British people got mad and started to donate their pots and pans to be melted down to make ammunition to fight them back. I think there will always be aggressors in this life, and we have to stay strong and fight back and not let them take our way of life away. I think we need to make sure our children remember all the sacrifices that were made for us, all through history

Yes -- It will always be one of those moments that we will always remember exactly where we were and what we were doing.

I agree and posted about that in my blog today as well. I think I am the only house on my street anymore who still hangs her flag every day however, and I miss that. Marcia

It's a day we will never forget, and I will also forever remember how our country pulled together after this horrible event. The US is an amazing group of individuals.

What a heart-wrenching picture. I know that I, for one, will never forget ...nor will I ever take my freedom for granted again! Diana

As a flight attendant who lives in, and is based in NY, everyday I put on my uniform and go to work I have constant reminders. It is a different job today.
I, too, hang my flag outside my home everyday. I am proud of our country, and pray daily that an end to terrorism is near!
Thank you for this post.
