Nie Recovery Auction-My Donation

Pin It Now!

I've donated my shell wreath to Kim's Auction to help Nie. I'm sure most of you who visit around blogland have heard the tragic story of this young couple...

On Saturday, August 16, 2008, Stephanie Nielson was in a plane crash with her husband, Christian Nielson, and his flight instructor, Doug Kinneard, near St. Johns, Arizona. Doug Kinneard passed away soon after arriving at the Maricopa County Hospital.

Christian & Stephanie remain in critical condition at Maricopa Burn Center. Christian has sustained burns on over 30% of his body. His wife Stephanie’s body was burned over 80%.

To read more about helping the family, click here. You can also visit Kim's blog, Today's Creative Blog and bid on some wonderful things that other bloggers have donated. The kindness of bloggers always amazes me and this is no exception!

I would like to thank Kim for doing this auction. I can't even imagine how much of her time this has taken her to pull this together!
This is my second post today so scroll down if this is your first visit...

I have been following the Nie's progress on her sister's blog. It is so tragic.

Yes, the blogging world is amazing.
Stephanie's family was on the today show, last week. At that time over 100,000 had been donated, throw various organizations. It really renews one's faith in humanity.
