Is it a dollhouse, a birdhouse? No, it's actually a mailbox but I'm going to use it to hold my small garden tools out on my patio. I painted it, put on a new roof and added some wallpaper inside (sorry I forgot to take a picture of the wallpaper). I even hung some lace curtains in the window.
I'm so ready for the 3-day weekend! I hope you all have a good one!

Love the new roof...so fitting for the cottage shape. I use an old mailbox as a clothespin holder outside...perhaps I can adapt your idea into something prettier?!
That is so~~~~~~~ cute. I like how your title said Another project done. I have so many I want to get started I don't know where to start. I wanted ask you a BIG favor. On your Jan. 31 post there is a chalk board but I can't see it very good. It looks beautiful, and it looks like maybe it was hand made. I am wanting to make something like that ( after I finish all my other projects ) would you be so kind to show us a picture of it? Did you make it?
Thank-you so much,
ginger
This turned out very nice, such a great way to have stylish storage in the garden. Great job. Enjoy the weekend.
That is such a great idea. Love it. I also love that white tray your co-worker gave you that you put your cupcakes on. Being stuck at home with my knee surgery, I wish I could have one of those cupcakes right now.

Wow, terrific job! Please tell me you photoshopped that into a picture of your garden from last year, and that you don't already have those wonderful flowers outside?! :)
Have a wonderful weekend, dear Cindy!

"I heart" all your photos, love your door with all the wonderful decor, not to mention your cute mailbox, what a good idea to keep small garden tools in it. You are so creativ. I am making decoration for Easter these days, feathers all over the house, laughter ;o)))) In Norway all the school children have winter vacation for one week, so we are enjoying the holiday.

Cute idea! I have something in my garage that's been waiting to be finished and find a use for it. It's a wooden mailbox I started long ago in a tole painting class. Now I know what I'll do with it. Finish it and put it on the patio with my garden tools! Thank you for the inspiration. I'll share it whenever I get it finished. ~Adrienne~
It's absolutely ADORABLE. I have something "kinda" like this that I have outside my cottage upnorth for friends to leave notes in.
Blessings,
Sher

What a lovely tool place.
Hope you have a great 3-days off.

Hi Cindy,
That is the cutest thing I have ever seen, where on earth did you find that?
Hugs,
Dena
Oh boy,
You are up to a lot of goodness, aren't you??!! I love the door and what you did with it, the table looks gorgeous, and what a great idea for the mailbox! You and I share a love of details, and I would also go to the trouble of adding the wallpaper and curtains. There is something so fun about playing with small-scale accessories like that. I picked up a doll's dining set from my childhood the other day at a thrift shop. I will post about it later in the week. I think you will appreciate it...!
Have a great week!
Linda
So cute! Great idea for your tools!
What a cutie... you know I love little houses.... Holy Moly I wish you had one of my conservatories on your sweet cottage patio...

Fabulous, as usual!
How amazing that something most people would pass by ended up being such a cute garden storage unit. You have such wonderful ideas.

I never saw this kind of mail box in Italy. Moreover I could never think about it as a box for gardening tools..brilliant!
I see you're a great single mom full of ideas

Chiara
Too cute! I love all your ideas. Thanks for continuing to inspire! Amy
That is very adorable Cindy. Just the perfect spot for small gardening tools.

Cindy, this is such a great idea. Shingled little houses, indoors or outdoors, are the perfect way to welcome spring. Re-purposing a mailbox to store garden tools is brilliant! ~ Arleen
Hi Cindy,
How pretty, good job!
Chris
Hi Cindy, Confession: Your blog was the very first blog I ever followed. It seems like it may have been a couple of years or MORE ago... could that be? I've always loved it and I've been right there with you as you transformed your apartment into your very personal home. Now I have a blog of my own and I would love to exchange links with you. Might we do that? It seems fitting and right that your blog should be linked from mine and I know my readers would be as smitten as I.
