Easter Decor - Show and Tell Friday

Pin It Now!

Welcome to Show and Tell Friday!  Last weekend I finally decorated for Easter!

A few years ago I bought all these faux chocolate Easter bunnies at Marshalls.  I love them and look forward to decorating with them every year!

I also look forward to this time of the year because my lilacs are blooming.  I usually have numerous large bouquets of lilacs but not this year for some reason!  There aren't many blooms at all this year and they seem to die as soon as they bloom.  I'm not sure why this isn't a good year for them.  The few you see in these photos are probably all I'll get this year!

It looks like it's going to be a good year for my Eden roses though. When I came back from my week in Hawaii I was shocked to see that the rose bush was full of closed blooms! I can hardly wait for them to open up!  I was shocked to see how much my garden had grown in just a week. It's feeling a lot like Spring here in Northern California. Everything seems to be budding and blooming!

I filled my tiered dish with moss, faux robin's eggs, faux African violets, nests and a little ceramic chick.

I also decorated the dresser I have under my stairs.

...and filled my apothecary jar with faux chocolate eggs.

I bought this little rusty miniature garden set a few years ago.  I had planned on making a Spring wreath and putting it on there but never got around to making it.  Maybe someday....

Last weekend Allen and I went to see "Jersey Boys" in San Francisco. It was such a great play! If you have a chance to see it I highly recommend it!

...and I have some exciting news to share!  I'm going back to Hawaii for a week with Allen in May!  I really loved it there so I'm so excited to go back!  The only bad part is I pretty much will have maxed out my vacation time for the year but it's well worth it.  It's amazing how quickly things can change in our lives. I had never been to Hawaii before and now I will have been there twice in two months!  It sort of feels like a dream to me!

Happy Easter to you!

Hi Cindy, I love your chocolate rabbits. I am going to be on the look out at after Easter sales this year. I am so scared after reading that you don't think your lilacs are going to do much this year. I am also is no. CA but mine have just barely started to shoot out leaves but it looks like a whole lot of buds are coming. I'm hopeful as I wait all year for my favorite flower. Your decoration are lovely and hope you have a wonderful Easter.

I just realized you are from Northern California. I'm from Nor Cal but living in Umbria Italy, I know it sounds romantic, but it has been gray and raining for months and I miss home.

Thanks for hosting.

How nice to be able to go back for another holiday so soon in such a lovely place.
Your Easter decor is so nice. I wish we could get such lovely faux bunnies and eggs here. You have some great shops there. I just heard we are going to get a Cosco here. I hope it's as good as yours. x

You sound wonderful and I adore your decorations. My fave is Mr. Rabbit with the blue stripes on his chocolate pants but I love them all lol You have a delightful presentation happening!
I saw Jersey Boys in NYC just before Christmas. I had never been there and it was on my bucket list, so I am certainly one you don'r have to convince since I made the plane trip to see it! lol
Have a beYOUtiful time in Hawaii.
